Maybe you should first check that out, before putting something here. If you read that, you could see that what you made has some things that need changing. Just read and learn.

i am aware that the background needs to be a certain colour

i can do that and i will but this is just a sample of the rats

But also the way they are positioned. This is an isometric client, meaning north is not faced upwards, but more diagonally (I would like to call this northwest).

Do we really need rats in Illarion? They're such a boring "monster." Besides, Martin has said time and again that he doesn't have very strong intentions of putting them in-game.

As for lifting them from Tibia: Naughty boy!

I played Tibia for several years and some of the graphics there are actually mine.
So I would have noticed that rat-her fast.

Never ever again do I want to see copyrighted material here again. Just think what might have happened:

-Martin says, hey, cool rats (uhm, not really...)
-Someone puts them into the new client
-The client can be downloaded
-A guy of CipSoft GmbH sees the rats and sues Alatar or the Illarion e.V.
-Illarion is done, dead, eaten, blasted, "pwned", and history

Of course that should not happen.

However, they use graphics of mine and never asked for permission. I know all these CIPsoft guys IRL and Alatar does, too, they would never sue us for anything.

However, I never want to see graphics you did not create yourself. Not every case might be as harmless as this one (which is pure chance, btw). So, just don't try it.

If Rats are too boring for you all to be one of the basic monsters, what about "Giant Ants" ?

Just imagine how much fun I can have with these !
I could make your characters fall into a deep Ant Colony, where thousands of thousands of these things await the adventures. Narrow tunnels and small chambers, crowded by them, you have to hack through 50 just to move a tile onward.

Uhh, all the fun I ... erm ... you all could have.

Oh and cjauncey, Tibia does not have ants, so dont waste time by looking there.

Sounds like a good way to powergame....kill 50 giant ants to move up one tile! w00t!

The file size is too big. It's 9.5 Kb. It would have been a fun one to use.
