The method that decreases the use of items beyond your skill level was fixed.
I didn't understand this one. What does this mean?

It is my understanding that there has always supposed to have been a calculation that makes wearing armor over your level not work as well as if you had that level. This script was broken and has now been fixed. This is my understanding anyway, perhaps someone else can clarify better.

Oh. No wonder I saw people wearing armor better than their levels. Was this broken for weapons as well?

Yes, the check was broken for weapons and shields as well. You can still equip items beyond your level. The message you get implies that you cannot use the item properly. This works now as intended.

The technical background of this is rather complex. So it took a while to fix this. Basically, the attributes of an item are stored in three objects, so called structs. The commonstruct contains all information that is common to all items of one type. So e.g. all serinjah swords have the same weight. The scriptitemstruct has all the information specific to the individual item in your inventory, such as its quality and location. Finally, the weaponstruct and armourstruct contain the values relevant to fighting. The fighting script was looking for the level in these last structs. When the fighting script was written, this was perfectly right and worked. In the meantime, the level information was moved to the commonstruct but the scripts were not updated.

Hab gerade gesehen das alle Schatzkarten den gleichen Wert haben .
Also eine kleine Karte ist genauso 1 Goldstück wert wie eine riesige Schatzkarte .
Ist das Absicht oder nur ein kleiner Fehler ?

Yes, I noticed things like yellow capes and some helmets not showing, and black skirts becoming pants.
It still looks awesome and got me excited, though. :D

Is it intentional that the character list no longer lists according to which one you last played, though?

It should sort it, but it seems that is not working that well currently.

It should sort it, but it seems that is not working that well currently.

I also notice the test server is no longer available. A bug, or are players no longer allowed access? I wanted to check out a bugged item earlier and noticed I had no way to select it.

The selection of the server is two staged. First is the physical server (illarion server or the local server) the second stage happens during the character selection. Currently it only shows the servers that contain any characters. Creating new characters is not working at all currently. As I said. The development client, especially the new account and character management is currently not intended for use and it still a heavy work in progress.

Evie, thanks for fixing drinking potions during fighting. That will save our chars a lot of money and the players much annoyance ;-)

I also like the fix regarding the level requirements for armor and weapons, since in the past, only top level items where requested and worn by most characters.

Since my character is a collector of all sorts of mugs and glasses, I also appreciate the new stacking possibilities.
It would be nice, if stacking of cutlery would be enabled too (and quality attribute removed).

I finally got a chance to look around a little bit today. The updated graphics for fish and spruce trees are beautiful. I also like that the bottles are no longer invisible. Nice work! :D
