Names on crafted items

I love how our name gets placed on our crafted item. It gives me pride or shame( if it sucks) in what I do.
Being how food stacks, maybe it is not possible to do the same, but cooking is a craft to. Something to take pride in. I just saw a single cake sell for 20 gold. If the name of the chef was also placed on the item, how much cooler would that be?
Just a thought.

I'm not sure about the enginewise naming of a crafter on his work. Since i haven't played for years. But maybe you can RP that there are initials carved or burned into the wooden plates and bowls.

Hey,

You already gave an answer, applesauce. The problem is stacking the food. Once drinks and bottles were named and it was really horrible and chaotic. So best is to rp those stuff like Shen said.

FYI - Bottles stack, too, when not labeled. 'Horrible and chaotic' isn't really a great excuse to be fair.

Robes, armours, weapons and practically everything can be 'labelled' by Gms so it would be a bit of a double standard not to allow the same for food. Did you ask a Gm?

Yes, and bottles aren't labeled anymore as far as I know.

And don't get me wrong, I would like to have labels at food as well (especially since my char is baker) but I don't like labeled items one can stack.
