plain old shoes

I would like to see shoes in game. Real shoes, not just armour class shoes. Like black boots or flats for women. None of my characters wear shoes currently, and it is because I don't want any levels in light armour in case a monster comes up out of nowhere.

Are clothing shoes possible?

I think even cloth shoes would count as low grade light armour...

Trousers, Tunics and cloth gloves, all are light armor. Why wouldnt shoes be too?

but there are other clothing items that are nothing but clothing so i agree why not some shoes that are clothing. why would a armer wear light armor

From a technical point of view shoes have to be armour, else you can't place them in the shoe slot.

Now beside that I think the light armour in general are cloth and leather stuff. Correct me if I am wrong. And cloth in the end is very low grade light armour.

Alright. I get it. Maybe then we could have more of a variety of shoes? Like dyed leather or something?

Well in matters of paperdolling they won't get additional graphics.

How even when it comes to the actual item... why not. Someone just has to create the graphics.

I believe when we get the new weapons and armors for every 10 levels there will be more shoe options as Nitram said shoes are considered an armor.
