Some maps end up being undiggable due to its location in mud/water/rocky tiles.
There is currently a map selling NPC.
I propose that this NPC should also be charged with Exchanging maps.
The maps that gets exchanged should be of the same value and type. (eg: Small and farmer's storage)
The change of the maps location should only be to a few tiles farther from the current cordinates so that this wont be misused to get "easy surroundings" to hunt. Just a few tiles would ensure that the same wild creatures has to be cleared/dealt-with before the treasure can be located n dug up.
DONT make this a money sink as i assume the undiggable maps are just a machine error while generating cordinates.
I dont see the reason why the "luck attribute" for getting the maps has been again messed with by having to deal with the chances of digging up the maps . So making the maps diggable this way would be useful.

Yes, so the the bug that some maps cannot be digged out on certain tiles just needs to be fixed. No need for an npc (which is not possible, anyway).Mr.Oldie wrote:So making the maps diggable this way would be useful.
Re: Diggable maps!
Treasures are never created on water tiles.
Mud is fine, but a small bug prevents digging on rock atm.
Store those maps, it will be possible one day soon...

Re: Diggable maps!
Just last night we had one map that was behind the wall... there have been a number of maps just dropped as they are in the water... and one under stone.. but if we could exchange them - that would be really a good idea.

Maps pointing on the ocean possibly mark positions on islands you didn't discovered yet.
