Barricade Opinion!

A parchment is on the main board of the town.

Citizens of Galmair,

Your opinion counts! Please sign your name if you wish to be heard..

This format, placing a parchment on our board for all to see, can reach more citizens then a number of meetings however if you wish to talk personally.. just send a message to a Chancellor.

Many years ago we used barricades to protect our town from the horrors of Mas when we first arrived from Gobaith and beyond. Since then, gates have been raised, our citizens have worked well in pushing the flow of monsters back from town, and we have a safe place for the children to stay in our hospital. We are also fully aware of the disaster of killing some maddened ones in town and even the lowest citizen knows to lead them out of town at night and to keep the gates closed particularly during Mas.

Barricades cost the town in coins to lay out, also coins to remove. How many think they are helpful for us to spend the time and coin on placing them again, or feel the town will be fine with training our citizens only?

Chancellor Kyre

PS There is no "right" nor "wrong" opinion. This is simply a survey. Tell your elected officials what you think.

Eine Verlautbarung hängt am allgemeinen Stadtbrett.

Einwohner Galmairs,

Sagen Sie Ihrer Stadtführung was Sie denken.

More parchments are laid on the table after Jerem's translation into the old language. A perfectly formed apple is added with a message .......

To Jerem,

Guaranteed no spells except maybe a little luck.

The Witch

((Thanks!))

A young girl steps to the board and looks at it interested.
She asks others who are standing there on the board, what is writing on this letters.

Sometimes later she comes back and put a picture under the other letters.

I have an estimate of supplies needed for barricades if we build them.

3750 logs
500 pins

Please state your opinions if you want barricades or not. We are running short on time before Mas approaches.

Dear Chancellors,

Drugar Stonesmasher expressed his opinion to leave the barricades be due to the fact, that the leaders of the undead forces have been vanquished and
barricades have proved to be more of a hindrance against the creatures of lesser intelligence.

Citizens of Galmair,

Another year and another Mas is upon us. There has been discussion in the meeting of the Left Hand recently of placing a gate at the bridge behind the Mage house for added security. Talk to Flint Stoneside regarding the supplies. More barricades were brought up also. We did fine last year without them however some say we were just lucky, others might say we still don't need them.

Your opinion counts!

All citizens are invited to voice your ideas on the barricades for this Mas!

Kyre

My opinion on the matter is that it is needed hence my suggestion. I just wanted to let it be known that I have 200 pins at the moment for the constructions and 1500 stones if that helps. Anyone else who is interested in donating to building this gate for Galmair's safety please contact me or one of the chancellors. Thank you.

Irmorom bless you,
Flint Stoneside

Jacob
Barricades have always been a hindrance to the defenders and no protection from the hordes of the undead attackers.

A powerful and well-equipped citizenship is more effective than any barricade.

Here the offer of the Friends of the Hammer:

* Incomplete equipment: Each citizen of Galmair receives missing items of equipment, such as weapons (sword, dagger, clubs, hammers, bows) or armor (light, medium or heavy weight).

* Every wish of citizens of Galmair to a combat training is fulfilled promptly.

Take advantage of these offers and help to build a defensive barricade against the approaching threat!

Jacob
