Night of the Bone Dragons

Post by Ufedhin »

On night of the 3rd of Mas the normal night sounds where torn apart with the terrible sound of wailing wind and heavy wing beats as a host of undead dragons decended upon sleeping Galmair.
Not all where sleeping, a few stood and gave battle to the undead horrors that attempted to enter our town gates,
Dragons long dead but terrible and mighty in foul magecraft and necromancy sought to destroy Galmair, but they where
resisted!
Arrows sang in the night air as the archers of Galmair let fly there shafts with deadly accuracy the sound of heavy blows and tortured metal rang out as the warriors hewed mightly at the gigantic bones of the foes .Lightning lit up the night sky as dragon magic started to rain down upon the defenders, then sounded deep blasts of alchemical bombs shattering along with the arrows and blows of the warriors the bones of these horrors...but it was not over for as soon as the dragons fell at the front gates ,the alarm went out attack from the south!.
Stout defenders rushed to the south bridge and drove back the dragons into the wood and there with the deep booming flashes of alchemists art ,the heavy powerful blows of the great warriors and the singing shafts of the archers they where destroyed.
The bones of twelve undead dragons litter the the ground outside Galmairs walls.

The defenders o' Galmair then rushed te give aid te Runewick, a message arrived before even breath could be regained of strife on Runewicks great bridge , foul drow sought to enter the enchanted town ,but with the aid o' the defenders from Galmair these too where destroyed with bow, axe, sword and alchemy .

A parchment flies in the breeze near Runewick with letters written in red.

For aid in defending your town, the bill will be determined by the Don.

This message also remains unsigned, yet is that the call of a raven.. or a faint cackle heard?
