Written in a wildly agitated erratic script and posted on the Galmair board
Witchcraft! curses an' Witchcraft.
Alas with great horror i must inform the citizens o' Galmair that
foul witchcraft be afoot in our town,last time i slept i was awoken by
something stinging my shoulder ,a curse woz laid upon me !, so afflicted
my entire left arm and shoulder has most foully and painfully turned
te resemble a gnarled ancient branch of some rough barked tree.
I ask anyone at all who might ha' seen anything even slightly odd
in Galmair on the night o' the 18 Findos te inform me asoon as ye can ,
even send me a message if possible.It could ha been some abomnable
woodland fairy or somesuch fey spirit or witch!
A handsome reward will be paid to anyone giving information leading to
the culprit.

Greeting te all Galmairians concerned wit ' this situation.
i write te comfort any wot has worries,the curse i am suffering has na' worsened
an i has been led te believe it be not witchcraft as i first suspected.
So its with almost certainty i can assure ye all no harm will come te ye from this.
Consider it a mere experiment o' mine wot has had a side effect.
i do hope i will soon be free o' it.

Having discovered that his curse is a result of malignant nature spirits ,Ufedhin has consulted a druid on the best course of action.
After a talk with a druid ,Ufedhin has taken many walks in the woods and made many offerings to nature herself,the curse burning
his mind with rage and fury each time, as it made no difference to his plight.
At last Ufedhins rage gets the better of him he goes deep into the forest.
A trap is set and after a hard struggle Ufedhin captures an Elstree forest troll, binding the unconsious creature with chain he has forged in
Galmair, he piles dry wood around the creature and waits for it to awaken.
" Know ye ! foul forest creature, yer tribes terrorising of my person is at an end ,yer vile magiks that twist my form shall be lifted or wroth
an woe shall be yer tribes reid from this day hence! Ye reap as ye sow stick ,stone and bone!
may yer spirit interceed wit the dark powers te change the fate o' yer tribe."
Ufedhin drenches the wood in lamp oil as the creature regains awareness ,with a torch held carefully
in the hand of ancient wood he chants these words as he lights the pyre.
"Black woods, black deeds, fouly ye curse on me, black magik ye made ,black magik on ye ,i return this curse tenfold te thee!"
"Dark powers wot be ,hark te me, return the curse te those wot be, may blight afflict ,may dark beasts rend , may rot devour,
those wot sought te make me cower!"
Ufedhin watches the troll burn without remorse in his cold eye.
