To our wise Don,

Galmair is the land of great productivity and with that blessing we have many individuals of high wealth among us, including yourself. Others aspire to be increasingly wealthy with time. I believe the current rate of tribute should be lowered to attract new citizens and also to relieve a burden on those who are successful in their trade. Galmair has so many people that you can achieve the same level or higher of tribute as the other towns while utilizing a lower overall percentage, let's say 3%. This is a request to recommend such an action.

Lesska not ssure Lesska agrees. Perhapss if thosse who have yet to find their profession were given a time when they were forgiven their tribute, it would help the new arrivalss get esstablisshed. But people like lesska already have too many coinss, and lesska iss eassily able to pay twice the tax lesska iss assked to pay and sstill not ssuffer hardsship.

Lesst tribute lesska had to pay 150 ssilvers, nd had it all made back twice the next day. Lesska sssurely iss not only sucessful busuinesslizard?

I agree with Lesska, the Don needs his coin.

Galmair is a fine town. The best in Illarion. It is not hard to make a fortune if you work hard. The tax is fair.

The problem is you will eventually be encouraged to STOP working hard. I am nearing the point where I will be paying 5 gold coins every dwarven week or so. The first 500 ingots I make are basically for free, so what exactly is the point? But since there are so many rich people in Galmair the Don will be getting more coin than any other town even with a very minor decrease in the rate, which is what I proposed.

FIrsst 500 ingotss for free? Lesska thinkss thiss is not proper way to look at.

Don hass gratiousssly cleared the banditsss from teh way to the mine. Lesska not hear any wordss of thankss to Don for doin ssso, sso lesska ssay sso now.

Ssure ssome animalss left, and the odd bandit trying to musscle in, but paying a ssmal amount to Don for allowing your work to continue sssafer sssurely iss worth a small portion of your coins.

Lesska Doess undersstand Foosser point, but Lesska iss sssure Don will Wisely invesst tribute coinss into Galmair sso Galmair isss even nicer in the next year.

Anyone wishing to hold an audience with the Don will be able to do so soon and address any issues or suggestions they may have with the town of Galmair.
