Beware robbers!

A small piece of parchment was pinned at the door of Runewick guard house.
The parchment was not signed.BEWARE ROBBERS!
Recently I was tricked and robbed, and I warn all of you against falling into same trap.
The man first approached me in Runewick and started talking about a trail of baskets that lead to the forest. I walked with him outside, but soon left him. Now I understand that he would have robbed me in the forest if I would walk further.
He then appeared again when I descended into a well full of rats, and offered his help. Together we wiped the place, but then he suddenly put a knife at my throat and took my pouch.
Sometimes it is safer to travel alone than with strangers.
