Captain the ship is lost we most abandone her.
these where the last words she heard of her first mate. before everything went black. when she came too she was a float on what remained of her ship. what seemed like for weeks was only days. when finally a merchant ship bound for runewick reeled her in. They done the best they could until the reached runewick where they sent for the closet doctor to come and check on her. while they waited. many were curious and started asking her questions. Rayne remained silent not sure what was going on. She did lay in the cot thinking of what led up to recent events. She was careful so how did they find her. Was there a traitor. Could it be.

We sail for illarion. We heard it was a good place to hide and lay low and plus there are alot of treasures to be found. much wealth to be gained. but We have to finish this one last job. We have his daughter and he will pay if he wants to see her alive. he didnt take us serious at first. But two toes later and we have a meeting point to collect are gold. My gut tells me something is wrong. but My first mate Jonathan says all is well and assures me that he will be there. This is his deal after al why would he lie.. no i have know him for over 20 years. Maybe Im just getting old. After all I am wanted all over the world it seems like. They even have a wanted poster. but no reward is posted just that it will be discussed at capture.

It was a quiet day in the hospital and Katharina sat at one of the beds and read a book. So it took her by suprise when the man spoke to her "Good day to you, miss. Are you the doctor here?" She raised her glance from the book and nods, "I am, what's the problem?" He told her about the woman they had rescued from the water and Katharina got up from the bed, following the man to the woman.
As she arrived there, she sat next to the woman and smiled to her sympathetic, "Helloo, I am Katharina, medico from Runewick. How do you feel?" While she spoke to, she checked her for visible bruises by looking over her.

Seeing the activity at the hospital the druid, curiosity getting the better of her, follows. Having lately returned to Runewick from a rather long trip, she has taken her time getting used to the new town again...still unable to find Azuros.
Greetings Katharina, I am not sure you remember me but I am Cay. I hope you don't mind me tagging along.. simple curiosity. The hospital looks wonderful by the way!
Giving her a wide smile with a brief giggle, the diminutive woman, no taller then a tall halfling, pushes back a brown curl of hair from her face and nods in greeting to the man before gaze turns toward Katharina's patient yet keeps her distance not wishing to interfere.

Seeing the two enter. Rayne thought of what to say. After a moment she spoke softly.
I feel fine. Just waterlogged.
As she tried to sit up she grabbed her side wrenching in pain. There is a few pieces of metal fragments that have lodged into her side and the woud was cauterized hence the reason there was no blood.
If asked she tells a story of her merchant ship attacked by pirates and as far as she knows she is the only survivor.

On her way to the patient she nodded to Cay "Yeah, I remember you. How have you been?"
But when they had reached the patient, she stopped chatting and focused on the wound. "Calm, dear", she tried to calm the woman as she tries to get up. When she saw the wound, she frowns, "Oh, what happened?"
Katharina carefully exaimed the wound and sighed, "I fear I'll have to remove these fragments, but here's not the right surrounding for that." She looked to the men standing there, "Please help me to bring her to the hospital."

During her move Rayne passes out from exhaustion. While she is passed out a piece of parchment falls out of her book she is holding. If read it shows a wanted poster that is about faded due to water damage but it somewhat looks like the elfess passed out.

Cay murmurs distractedly also gazing at the woman. As she assesses the injuries then nods agreeing with Katharina, she turns then calls before running toward the hospital only stopping to pick up a fallen parchment....
I'll make sure the bed is prepared and all is ready.
At the hospital she lays the fallen parchment on a table without glancing at it, before preparing the bed and setting out herbs and bandages.

Katharina followed them back to the hospital. "Thank you, Cay", she said after Cay prepared the bed. When they had laid the elfess at the bed, she points to the door, "Thank you for your help, but I must ask you to leave the hospital while I care for her wounds. You can stay, Cay." While she waited for the men to leave she exaimed the parchment curiosly. As she read she frowns and after reading it, she looked to the elfess laying there so peacefully. "Have a look at her for a moment, Cay."
She headed out and came back a few moments later, a rope in her hand. "I'll tie one hand of her to the bed, to make sure she won't attack us." And so she tied the elfess' right hand to the bed before she started to remove the fragments and clean the wound.

So exhausted she never woke up while being treated. But after words when she woke up she realized her right hand was restrained. To tired to and in pain to really move her free hand to untie herself. She just chuckled and looked around the room. Seeing the doctor and the other woman.
Greetings she said politely. Mind unting my hand it's kinda numb. And I'm in no condition to escape. I'm sure you have questions. And since you healed me I will.answer them.

Cay reaches for the tied hand untying it while talking to the wounded elfess..

After talking with the doctor and explaining what led her to be wanted and to be wounded. The parchment was returned to Rayne. Laying in the bed of the hospital . She pulls out a book labeled captain's log she begins to write.
