Präambel: Der Akademie und Stadt Runewick ist es bestimmt, die göttliche Schöpfung, ins besondere ihre Einwohner und Natur, zu schützen, zu fördern und das Verständnis von ihr zu mehren und behüten.
1. Artikel: Jede Person hat im Rahmen der Verfassung das Recht auf ein unversehrtes Leben gemäß seiner Bestimmung und Bestrebung.
2. Artikel: Alle Bürger haben das Recht ihre Meinung im Rahmen der Verfassung frei zu äußern.
3. Artikel: Jede Person hat das Recht auf Eigentum, aber auch die Pflicht diesen zum Wohle der göttlichen Schöpfung zu nutzen.
4. Artikel: Jede Person ist gegenüber der Stadt Runewick gleichwertig.
5. Artikel: Alle Bürger Runewicks müssen die Mehrung und Wahrung von Wissen, Verständnis und Weisheit fördern.
6. Artikel: Jede Person muss die Götter ehren, die fünf Schöpfer wie ihre zehn ehrbaren Kinder. Dämonen und der Unausgesprochene sind zu meiden und zu bekämpfen.
7. Artikel: Jede Person ist verpflichtet die Natur mit Respekt und ohne Verschwendung zu nutzen.
8. Artikel: Runewick vergibt für Taten zu seinem Wohle akademische Ränge. Diese sind in aufsteigender Rangfolge: Novize, Anwärter, Student, Gelehrter, Magister, Doktor, Dozent, Professor, Dekan und Rektor.
9. Artikel: Alle Bürger sind angehalten ranghören Bürgern mit besonderem Respekt zu begegnen und rangniederen Bürgern Lehre und Unterstützung zu bieten.
10. Artikel: Runewick wird vom akademischen Rat verwaltet und repräsentiert, bestehend aus allen Professoren und höheren Rängen, ernannt und entlassen durch sein ranghöchstes Mitglied. Das ranghöchste Mitglied regiert und leitet die Akademie und Stadt Runewick und wird ernannt durch Stadtgründer Elvaine Morgan.

Article #3: Every person has the right to owning private property but also the obligation to use their property for the greater good of all.
Article #4: Every person is equal before the City of Runewick.
Article #5: Every citizen is obligated to further the pursuit of knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
Article #6: Every person is to honour the gods, both the Five and the honourable Eleven. Demons and The Unspoken One are to be shunned and resisted.
Article #7: Every person is obligated to respect nature and avoid wastefulness.
Article #8: Runewick awards academic ranks for deeds performed for the good of the city. These ranks are in the following order: Novice, Apprentice, Student, Scholar, Master, Doctor, Docent, Professor, Dean and Rector.
Article #9: All citizens are required to show deference to those of higher academic rank and to guide, teach and support those of lower ranks.
Article #10: Runewick is represented and governed by the Academic Council which is established of all higher-ranking professors, which are elected or dismissed by the ranking member.The ranking member is chosen by the City Founder, the Archmage Elvaine Morgan.
Ich gebe hiermit meine Kommentare zum Verfassungsentwurf ab.
zu Artikel 6: Die Muss-Verordnung für die Götter ist unakzeptabel, jeder Person muss frei stehen welchen Gott sie ehrt. Einer Gesellschaft die auf Wissen und Weisheit basiert, bedarf keiner derartigen Regelung. Der Paragraf sollte vielmehr die Ablehnung des in Runewick Ungenannten regeln.
zu Artikel 4 und 9: Diese beiden Artikel widersprechen sich.
Im weitesten Sinne erfüllt auch der Artikel 10 die Regelung zu Artikel 4 nicht.
Mein Vorschlag für Artikel 4: Jedem Bürger Runewicks steht das gleiche Recht im Sinne der Verfassung zu.
Mein Vorschlag für Artikel 9: Alle Bürger sind angehalten sich gegenseitig mit Respekt, Lehre und Unterstützung zu Begegnen.

Hereby my comments of the draft constitution.
to Article 6: The Must-Regulation for the gods is unacceptable, for each person it should to be free to honor the personal favorite Gods. A society based on knowledge and wisdom does not require such a regulation. The paragraph should regulate the rejection of the unnamed in Runewick.
to Articles 4 and 9: These two articles contradict each other.
In the wide sense the Article 10 does not meet the rules of Article 4 too.
My proposal for Article 4: Every citizen Runewicks has the same rights in the sense of the Constitution.
My proposal for Article 9: All citizens are encouraged each other with respect, teaching and support to encounter.

The 6th Article is inspired by our current law §10, anyway we can discuss if the word respect fits more for Runewick as honour. This is no article to force anyone to follow any god but to show them respect. Indeed any Runewick citizen is and will be free in the choice of which god he follow, except the uncalled one.
Example given such a regulation shall make it clear, that we will not accept it if someone would urinate on an altar or making hard insults against a god
The 4th article is maybe not perfect translated. We don’t want to say every person is equal but equal value. The town of Runewick not judge two people different in reason of their rank or title or should risk for one of their citizens more as for another.
The 9th article is very discussable. I grow up in a community where you show respect and humbleness to the elders, clerics, leaders and others in charge. I ever expect these also from my students and others which follow me. But I accept that other people grow up without these general respect for people which had earn a higher ranks. I suppose we will discuss and vote about that point at the next meeting to see which version the other citizens prefer.
as I told you before, years ago I already sent a note to the archmage asking for changing the 10th article of the current law.

About the 9th article, I personal accept your explanation, but I see no contradiction to my proposal.

Mit den Änderungen der Stadtversammlung wurde folgender Verfassungentwurf Elvaine Morgan zur Verifizierung vorgelegt. Wer nun noch Einwände oder Vorschläge aufbringt hat kurzfristig noch die möglichkeit diese Elvaine Morgan direkt vor zu tragen. Die Verfassung tritt in kraft sobald sie von Erzmagier Elvain Morgan unterzeichnet wird und ersetzt damit zugleich das alte Gesetz Runewicks.

Follow concept of costitution, including, the changes of the citizens meeting, was given Archmage Elvaine Morgan to verification. Who ever have any further comments or proposals may speak personal with Elvaine Morgan on short notice. The constitution became effective after Archmage Morgan had sign it, the same time the old law of Runewick will be out of date.

Erschüttert von der Gleichförmigkeit der bei der Bürgerversammlung Anwesenden und zugleich enttäuscht über die Gleichgültigkeit der freien Bürger zum Thema neue Verfassung, nehme ich mein Recht in Anspruch zu diesen Themen in Zukunft zu schweigen, denn zumindest das Schweigen ist in Runewick uneingeschränkt.
Shaken by the uniform opinion of those who are present at the town meeting and at the same time disappointed by the indifference of the free citizens of Runewick in relation of the new constitution, I take my right to claim to speak on these topics in the future, at least the silence is fully unlimited in Runewick.
