I'm going to invest a few private € into a FB advertisement.

Check in your Facebook what other do.
Squeeze your brain and tell us, how it should looks like and which texts would be appealing to you.

What about a picture with the faction crests and as a slogan: "We don't have Winter but all kinds of factions and houses!"

Maybe we can use the GoT hype for ourselves.

Ideas regarding GoT-Hype:

I like the idea with advertisement banners with

• "Oh, sweet summer child..." - with desert background
  "Winter is already there." - with snowy background
  "Where are my dragons?" - dragon nest

and "illarion.org - Free, Open Source Online RPG" as bottom line

- lower part light, upper part dark
- some chars (moset self spawned NPC)
- new large Logo
- Civilization and Wilderness

To be change from my point of view:
- Find the darkest time
- Multiple different characters in civilization (human, elf, halfling, dwarf, orc, lizard)
- multiple different monster in wilderness (spider, troll, warge)
- Make another char without test in name
- Make sure chat box contains no GM stuff but any talk

Regarding GoT
From my point of view a good idea if it was not for Facebook.
FB advertisement has to be paid and is organized in a way each click costs the advertiser a certain amount. The costs will be negotiated online and depend on the amount of other parties using the same basement. It can reach from a few Cent to multiple € for each click.
I'd expect jumping on the GoT hype as a basis we are in a very huge and wealth company and my few € would melt away faster than snow in the Death-Valley.
