Better place to train?

Is there a better place for a beginner to train then killing pigs in the city? I feel like a criminal when I do it.

There are several better spots IMO... there are many guards running around Bane, maybe you should ask one of them.

Mummies are hardly a challenge as long as you have some armor and an actual weapon. A bit later, defensive training is beter with wolves.

It would probably be best to catch a fighter or guard in the game, they can recommend armor and places to go that would suit your char's individual needs.

Also, often times if you ask a fighter in game to train you he or she will gladly oblige.

For RP reasons, you might as well find someone in the game and ask some guidance in combat training. They'll even tell you what is closest there, usually.
