Falling damage

Has falling damage increased or does weight/armor effect how much you take? I've fallen twice recently and died both times. Once off the tavern roof (no armor) and died, the second in the mountains (one level down, very good magical elven armor) and died. The second was slightly encumbered. Replacing armor is getting costly so was wondering. I've fallen a number of times in the past and survived.

I would suggest you stop going into high places and falling off of them . Damage is altered with the height of the fall (falling two levels will do more damage then falling one) the the combined weight of your armor, weapons, items in your pocket and bag. The heavier you are the more likely the fall is to kill you. especially if you have low mage-ish constitution you shouldn't climbing into high places carelessly.

Sorry you lost items with your fall, all you can do to avoid this is watch your step in the mountains and do less roof hopping ^^

It's been like that a good while.

Fun Note: First death in Illa ever, I fell off the Library roof.
It was within the first ten minutes of playing. :)
