Why don't you simply set them fitting to the char you want to create?

Are you asking how to move the sliders to set the points for your attributes, or are you asking for advice on what setup to use?

Don't worry about stats too much, this is a roleplaying game, you play the role of a character with a background story that you conceive. So, figure out who your character is, his age, history, parents, background, etc.. and set up his attributes in reflection to that.

And a good way to get more information is to ask players for additional contact information like I did for you. You'll get alot of different peoples' experience, and it always helps. :)

Okay, if you're completely new to roleplay, I SERIOUSLY advise you read this BEFORE going in-game:

www.digitalkarl.com/roleplay

It really will explain most of what you need to know. It's really long, but trust me, if you want to play on Illarion, everything in this guide is the basics of what you need to know.

Good luck and I'm glad you asked for help before hopping in-game, you probably avoided yourself a looooooooot of trouble.

Remember: You aren't your character. You are playing the ROLE of a character, just like in a movie or a theater play. Find a story for your character. Who were his parents? How old is he? Where does he come from? (For that, check www.moonsilver.de) Is he nice? Is he mean? Is he always in a bad mood? In a good mood? Is he helpful? Is he a wannabe thief or maybe an aspiring knight?

Remember to keep it medieval, and I can't stress enough, read THIS: www.digitalkarl.com/roleplay

I don't know about the others, but mine's been obsolete since the illarion wiki - and I haven't updated it forever.

It isn't exactly a fan site since it's been quoted on many many roleplaying communities now (at least 9 that I know of) but I wouldn't mind it publicized either, would help noobs out the way it was intended to. :3

In before lock.

To OP:
helpful attributes for fighters are strength, agility, constitution, and dexterity, unless you are an archer, in which case I suppose, perception.
