Yes, you can RP your 'true' character death and delete from your account screen.

If the Player of(PO) the Char (or in heavy situations a GM) want the Char death the Char get a permanent Ban. (Not your account!)

So if you write in Forum RPG or IG
#me is dead.
(or similar) ... GM detect it and ban your char.

Other Players are not able to force your Char to death. It's allways your own decision. (exept GM's)

If you get clouded/ghosted you arn't dead, just a ghost who get a "second" chance by the gods. Like it's written at the Wiki-article.

Awww ok thanks just it said
Little is known about the afterlife on Illarion. Some question if there is any - but only those who live can be so naive. Cherga's realm, as the afterlife is usually referred to, is neither a place nor a world but another state of existance. Those who die from high age, diseases, famine, executions or great terrors like demons usually are not granted another chance to fulfill their deeds on the real world. They are not caught in the metaworld as a cloud but enter Cherga's realm for good. It is word that for most, this is a revelation. But not everyone is granted entry to Cherga's realm. Those who sinned against the eleven, non-sentient beings and those failed to fulfill their purpose in life, are rejected and their essence dissolves into thin air. Their physical bodies remain, lifeless and just a dead shell that begins to rot and decay.
which made me think that i got to stay away from demons :)

Greater demons
Location: (Unknown, but rumours say there is one under the Kumdah Desert...)
Description: Greater demons are huge red creatures which are extremely powerful. Their magic does huge damage, as do their physical attacks. Necromancer greater demons even summon demon skeletons, making them an extremely destructive enemy. Large groups of fighters and mages are needed to take down a single necromancer demon. The origin of the demons is far from this world. They came as servants of Madrook Na'han, seemingly invincible monsters prepared to conquer Illarion. Only with the help of the gods were they destroyed in the Great Battle but some of them escaped and since hide in the deepest caves hoping that an adventurer enters their lair. Sometimes when the Bone Lord, their new master, calls upon them can they be seen on the surface of Illarion. Avoid them, flee them, as they not only take your body but also claim your soul!
Ok, this means nothing then... I am only ghosted even if i find a Greater Demon?
And what happens to some characters I have seen transformed into skeletons during a Lich attack to Bane?

Just because your character isn't killed, doesn't mean it can't be taken away to some lonely place that only the gm can access and the greater demon keeps you as a pet.

You've taken a thread about death and turned it into necromancy.
