Crossbows

Might sound strange, but are there any crossbows in the game nowadays? I know I have seen a crossbow once in the game, but noone seem to know where to get it or if it is even possible to make.

Anyone who knows anything of this?

Morgan sells crossbows, I think no carpenter has the skill to make one yet.

Another reason for their absence is that Crossbows do not compare to other weapons such as Magic bows or throwing stars which both have a faster firing rate for the same damage effects.

I'd love to see more work on the archery system by the devs. Distance weapons are sorely lacking in this game.

Personally, I wouldn't waste time with a crossbow for now. I have one, and have tested it. I was very disappointed.

I kinda go what suits my char the best. I know distance weapons are useless more or less for now, but as a member of a noble family with own hunting grounds at the mainland I think a knight should be able to use a bow/crossbow when hunting. Kinda have this pic of Hawk in my head that I try to make him into - even skill wise.

Ah, well... Wonder when that new combat system will come. Anyone who knows?

When it is done

. There is no deadline and in the meantime, one can fight quite well without any change. The update will feature a whole package of changes and all of them need to be completed before updating.

yea i am too, to be a knight usually implies proficiency with all weapons, so Kail could use a sturdy bow
