Okay ...

1. Sheep flee like they do mostly in real life. There's no sense for implementing an AI for the sheep at the moment.

2. There's no list. Figure them out yourself. It's not too hard.

3. To cast all spells you need all books.

If you meant Fleece, (which i think ya did)
Bring it to the big shop. You can turn it into Ball of Wool.
Next, spin it into favorite color cloth...
Then, tailor a shirt, Cape, or Trousers out of it!
Not too great but hey! You get 3 items for free!
Have a nice day!

You cast spells by combining runes. So you don't "have" spells, you only have runes. To see what runes you have simply hold alt. It will show you the picture of all the runes that you have now. Unfortunately the name of the rune is not shown. So in the future whenever you read about a new rune, you should note the name and hold alt to see what corresponding new picture you have and write it down. If you see me in game, ask me and I will help you figure out the names of the runes that you already have. That way you won't buy a book you've already read.

Hmm, just an info to all ...

It's nice that you try to help newbies, but don't take the excitement to figure out the things ingame. Don't tell them exactly how things work in the game. Please give just little hints on it.

For example don't tell them how clothes are produced. Just remember them with little hints how it is done in real life.

That's no insult at all ... cause I know how hard some processes are in the game (as an example: I figured out the whole glass blowing thingy around two weeks ago *doh*).
But isn't it better to find it out with little or no help instead of doing it with a step-by-step instruction? Wouldn't it make you proud of yourself if you do it by your own?

Hmm, no insult! Just something to think about ...

Just in case you were directing this comment at me, i want to say that i wasn't going to tell him all the spell combinations, i was just going to tell him the names of his runes, some of which he has no other way of figuring out.

I always give the newbies a metal shield and a viking helm (blue!)
But I know some who give away plate armor and fire swords...
Just a reminder I'm not a bad guy!

No you cannot see what spells you "have" because you don't "have" spells
but you can see what runes you have by holding alt. It doesn't display the name, but you can note the name and matching rune picture when you learn about it.
