Late at night you might have came across two men residing over a camp fire, laughing and chatting. one carries a flail, the other a sword, he also carries a large bag, which suggests he have been travelling for some time.

"..and the orc says, 'me nubba want tha in first place!'"

They both laugh

"..ha ha ha, i've missed your tales Findor..!"

"Aye and i have missed this island.. it seems different to me.."

The man with the flail nods

"Aye, it has changed much in your absence Findor, much has happened.., i hear thatWindslasher fellow is a mercenary now, i hear he was kicked out of the town guard, a disgrace if you ask me!"

"The man with blue hair..?"

"..Aye that's the one, he's getting engaged as well, that's no start for a marriage.."

"..Aye, i wouldn't show me face in public again!.."

The man with the sword chuckles

"..I see the town has been overun by children as well, posting nonsense on the town walls"

The man with the flail nods

"..I don't know, some of them have been quite amusing, pictures of That elf in the guard. Their were others, but no-one i know of.."

The man chuckles, thinking back to the pictures. His face suddenly turns serious and he leans closer to the man with the sword, you may just be able to hear them

"I hear of talk of wars.. the building of armies. I can feel it."

"..surely not? who?"

The man with the flail shrugs

"..it could be anyone, i have seen many Travellers heading to Varshikar and Vanima.. it seems.. suspicious. There is a lot of discontent with Trollsbane across the isle.."

A twig cracks nearby, both men look up..

"..i think we should move..."

The men dampen their fire and stand, dusting themselves down. They walk deeper into the forest

((Just experimenting with the thread. Trying some new things, if anyone mentioned doesn't want to be, just say and i'll edit it.

Two women bicker on the streets, whilst hanging out some washing..

"I'm telling you i saw a dark figure on the tavern roof!"

"It was probably a drunken dwarf!"

"No! it was evil, i felt it's presence!"

"Your talking nonsense Ava!"

The women continue to argue as you pass..

As you pass Further down the street, you notice more comments

"Aye a figure clad in black, on the inn, come look.."

"Is it me, or is it getting colder these days?.."

"The trees sound like laughter!"

"I heard screams in the library!"

"A skull in the well?"

In der Ferne hörst du wildes geschret, du verstehst nur Wortfetzen... "...hier...der untote Lord...auf der Insel...", ...das geschrei verstummt...

in the distance you hear wild shouts, you understand only scraps of the conversation ... "... here ... the undead lord ... on the island ...", ... the shouts falls silent ...

At Various times of the day you can find a strange old man flipping through his note book and shouting "Ah hah!" Sometimes he is found mixing Various liquids also

You hear two fishermen speaking as they go away from the docks. One is a halfling, the other a man. Both seem very scared.

- 'ave ya seen that height before, mate? I thought that was an ocean troll!
- Ya bet! It scared me to my bloody bones!
- And he passed by us as if we weren't there. Ain't paid attention!

Two Cooks talk at the Tavern:
head Cook: Did you hear about that new Guard?
Aprentice: No What about him?
Head Cook: It's said he is an Ex-Assasin! how could he make a good guard?
Aprentice: Oh! That one, i heard he's getting married to some girl. I heard that he protected Everyone From the Drow Attack Also!
Cook: Drow Attack?
Aprentice: Aye! and the Orc attacks, maybe he really has changed?
Cook: But his Cloak has two insignias.
Aprentice: The Guards and what?
Cook: It is a replica of the Tattoo's on his arms. But i don't know what it means.

You walk on and can't hear the chatter.

In the last dungeon room of the graveyard, where the beholders dwell, there stands a dark column. It now reads:

"I was here! 3. Ronas 07, Necrophocius Fungus.

In a quiet corner of the tavern to men sit and chat over a cold mug of beer. One is obviously a young man, he has several glassblowing tools poking out from his bag, the other man is older, he also carries glassblowing tools, neatly arranged and attached to his belt. They speak fairly loudly, so you may be able to get a listen to their conversation.

"..and would you beelive it son, she had a ring on her finger, she wasn't saying much about it though..."

The young man laughs and replies

"Well, that has to be the strangest news i've heard all day, and let's face it. It would have to be rather bizarre to do that"

"Aye, but not as strange as some other things i heard.."

The old man looks around before lowering his voice

"I hear that Pendar took the eye of a man and ate it in front of him.."

The younger man looks shocked

"Pendar, captain of our guard?"

Old man nods and holds his fingers to his lips.

"I also hear they captured Dravdish.. or erm.. Dragish, you know.. the lich."

The young man nods, he seems surprised.

"The Guard had a busy day"

The old man nods and replies

"Not as busy as those elves in vanima"

The young man raises his brow

"Oh?"

"Aye, they were attack by those..other elves.., said something about no dwarves or something.. being allowed to step on the soil"

The young man gazes out the tavern window to the library. He pauses and squints.

"Can you see that?"

The old man shrugs

"What?"

The young man points out of the window to the direction of the library roof

The old man squints his eyes trying to get a look. he says..

"what by the five is that."

They both stand and leave the tavern, heading to the library.

((note: before you moan, i know some of these aren't 'entirely' true, buy hey they are rumours, of course they are not.))

Bartender "You know the elf guard, Callith, he was in here drinking all night, seemed upset about something, drank himself unconsious he did. Had to dump the damn drunk out in the mud. He didn't even pay, but he will next time he comes in I'll tell you."

You overhear to people talking in front of Eliza's Shop in passing.

"Have you seen that man growling at everybody, unsheathing his sword at anyone who gets to close?"

"Yes. He is a danger to the people in this town."

"Apparently he was jailed and a recruit let him out."

"Oh?"

"She is taking responsibility for him. He seems to calm down when she is with him"

"But what happens when she is not there to calm him down and he attacks someone"

The conversation fades out as you walk on...

You hear two old people talking : "..yes, they are elves - and they are sleeping under the apple tree, right next to the pigs !"
"Near the PIGS ? Elves ? Okay, now, the world will end."
"And that was not all ! Both were full of blood and wore armors. Not their own blood though. They must have been..." they continue babbling like that, passing by.

At the huge tree in front of the shop of Eliza you see two halflings sitting. One of them drinks a green potion.

Halfling I: "Hmm...taste good"
Halfling II: "Yes! The new strong healing potions are much better then the old ones"
Halfling I: "Did Floro change his recipe?"
Halfling II: "He did! This is one of the first potions with the new recipe."
Halfling I: "Its really better. Would be even more better with a nice cake"

Both halflings chuckles and you went on

An dem großen Baum vor Elizas Laden sieht zu zwei Halblings sitzen. Einer von ihnen trinkt einen grünen Trank.

Halbling I: "Hmm...schmeckt gut"
Halbling II: "Jap! Die neuen starken Heiltränke sind viel besser als die Alten"
Halbling I: "Hat Floro das Rezept geändert?"
Halbling II: "Hat er! Das ist einer der ersten Tränke mit dem neuen Rezept"
Halbling I: "Der schmeckt wirklich besser. Währe aber noch besser mit einem leckeren Kuchen"

Beide Halblinge kichern fröhlich und du gehst weiter

You hear rumors that Ko is digging a tunnel underneath the shop, and soon that it will cave in.

Some rumors say it is only a matter of time, as he has already dug under the tunnel and only needs to break a few supports.

Another rumor is that orcs are learning magic, and summoning skeletons to attack town.

All rumors say that the Orcs have a grand plan to kill Pendar, the White Flame, and other certian and random people. There seems to be no deffiniate idea.

A group of strong men are at the workshop pulling at what seems to be a shield

"I can't seem to pull it out... its too heavy, what is this?"

"Maybe your are not as strong as you thought"
"Don't insult me.. you know i beat you last time....."

The people leave; the shield lies there, with what seems to be a sort of sticky substance between it and the ground. Could it be donf glue?

Some may say that the spirit of Aldriaa Halfmoon still haunts the mine where she died, and returned that night...

There is also a rumor of Pendar Fayed having emerged from the same mine badly wounded.

Female: I heard that Ko came into Eliza's shop and tied up a member of the Order of the White Flame. The brother has not been seen since. I am afraid.

Male: Do not worry, sweet heart, I will protect you

Apparently to show her thanks, she pulls the man to a secluded spot, away from prying eyes.

Man I : "Have you been in the westforest lately?"

Man II: "No, why do you ask?"

Man I : "You should have a look. The half of the forest is nearly exploding of trees. While it was bald before, you now can get lost there."

Man II: "Really? How does that come?"

Man I : "I've heard that a woman has been seen, wearing a grey a robe, wandering through the forest, planting seedlings and using magic to let them grow."

Man II: "A witch?"

Man I: "Nay, I don't think so. Why would a witch care for a forest? Though I've heard that she very much looked like one. Skin like ivory and ravenblack eyes..."
