Build a Chapel to Lady Cherga! // Bauen Sie eine Kapelle für Lady Cherga!

Post by CJK »

Why is it that Lady Cherga, the most honorable Keeper of Souls, is the only god with only one altar cast far out in the wilderness, surrounded by dangerous and unholy beings? Yes, others are served at a single altar, such as the patrons of Cadomyr, Irmorom in Galmair, and Elara in Runewick. However, each of these altars are safely accessible to all but criminals banned from the town. Meanwhile, Lady Cherga may only be served on the Pauldron Isle, reached by a long and treacherous trek from the Inn or taking a ferry to the nearby harbor. However one reaches Pauldron, they must then brave powerful Liches, Unholy Acolytes, and various foul undead mages. This status quo is dangerous and dishonorable! The Grey Mistress may be sought by the ill, dying, or elderly; would you encourage a sickly old woman to make such a trip to gift the Lady a small offering? Would you carry a coffin through the undead that She may bless the funeral and burial of a departed loved one?

I intend to construct a humble chapel to my Lady on safe, neutral ground. Reach me by note, responses here, or in Runewick to offer donations or propose sites and designs.

In service to the Mistress,
Eleanor Angbar,
Priestess of Cherga

Eleanor Angbar,
Priesterin von Cherga
