Frizzas observations of a usual day..

Post by Chirch ka shrr »

It has been Irmas the second. Frizza stood as usual at her market stall in the heat of the sun. There was pretty little movement in the air but being a lizard she did not care all that much while some of the other human traders were cursing from time to time. The only thing notably to happen was a meeting of the count and one of his subordinate lizards. There was an exchange in lizard tongue about some dark haired elves found in the southern woods, which was not really of interest to her. More so was some exchange about the selection of some new nobles, but there was little new in that so she lost interest in that as well and ordered her wares instead.
Somewhat later she noticed the two lizards leaving town in full armour, chatting about some quest

The day goes on uneventfully. There are just a few customers to serve. The only thing worth noting are the overly bold lizard hatchlings she needed to chase away, because they were close to upturning here wares.
Later that day though Frizza observes the count returning alone. His amour seems to be scorched and somewhat dented and obviously he is not in a good mood. All she can hear though, while he passes her on his way to get his armour polished up again, is something about a maze and some impure creatures having dragged away something. She really would like to get some more details but does not dare to disturb a noble in a foul mood.

Frizza did her tasks as usuall.
But this was a special day, as the destruction of the cursed columns had been executed.
One after one the warriors, nobles and visitors came back to town.
Some showed signs of battle, some beeing even hurt but there seemed to be no fataly wounded ones.

Among the seemingly wounded ones was one of the lizards wearing the blue coat, who besides showing bloodmarks also seemed rather tired.
She remembered him to shuffle over the market in a simmilar tired way the last days, at least most of the times she did see him at all.

But then she thought, remembering a night when she woke and got up to fetch some water against her thirst,
"no wonder, he seems to be on nightshift. Cant expect anyone to be not tired when he is up all night. But even then he seemed to be sleepy, shuffling stiff and straigt out of the gate"
