the Age of Fools

Post by Kundra »

A dusty book sits comfortably on the table that bides inside the library of Trollsbane. If one were to open the book they would see some familiar writings though slighty altered it seems with some nice and colorful fancy pictures.
Binora Faldrán, Mother of Willy-Winky Faldrán, proclaimed in the prime age of shooby dooby dooby: "The day will come where idiocy covers the land. foolishness, arisen from within us, strengthened and nurtured by us, but which eventually will rule us. Then the silly billy of oblivion will engulf us and our folk will return to dust. But a small seed will be able to escape and will prosper again in another world, prosper with a strength, we could not provide."

After her last words faded away she broke wind as a sign of sacrifice. Her sleepy body fell to the ground and the force within her found a new splinter. The only thing that was found at her body was a bottle of mead.

The true origin of the Gods of Illarion is clouded in mystery, and quite frankly these days nobody cares. The elves seems to know the most, as they were the first to keep a continuus record of their history, but their willingness to share this information is small. And they hide away on Tol Vanima anyway like some kind of family of hermits.

It seems to be that the world, the gods came from, was shattered due to a great conflict arising between their kind. Unlike the people of Gobaith - they seem to like to stay in limbo and argue so nothing gets done thus nothing to shatter. The gods might have been sent to preserve the true essence of their own existence, to collect powers as battle preparations, as a stronghold, or they just created the world for another purpose. Like to watch the people on it making 'relations' with each other in a dark bush.

And so begins the Age of Fools.
