Lingering Thoughts On Deadly Trots

Post by Kaidan Firestone »

-skipped Light into Void-

Kaidan Firestone made his way through Trolls Bane, his ban recently lifted. The man had changed dramatically since his arrival on Gobiath. He walked with with a certain confidence, perhaps evolved into arrogance. Calm was his manner yet beneath it was an unsourced anger.

Kaidan had met Seredoc early in his time on the island. At first a creature whose words and actions frustrated the nobleman, turning into slight annoyance, growing into mildly funny till Kaidan regarded the halfling as a friend. Change in relationship was one sided, Seredoc had always kept Kaidan at a distance, it would appear he had kept all but one at a distance. A brilliant actor, Seredoc never showed Kaidan a flicker of depression or even boredom living amongst mortals.

Kaidan hated not knowing the Why.

"Relative privacy", Kaidan thought to himself as he looked over his shoulder.

Kneeling down in front of the wooden chest he quickly opened the depot, looking for whatever he could find...
