For current students, this is an excellent chance to increase your knowledge in a field that is mandatory for all students.
For applicants, this is the perfect chance to both see the academy, and to meet some of the Master Mages who may be looking for apprentices.

Be greeted citizens,

Today, I was able to finalize a deal that has been in the works since my inception as Governor of Troll's Bane. Strengthening the bonds of the Town and the ways of the Arcane and bringing a culture to this town of higher learning. The Town of Troll's Bane and the Magic Academy have reached a conclusion on a deal that will give them more presence within our town and defend our borders in times of upheaval and war.

Though it will only be on a strictly voluntary basis, the Academy will also assume a position within the Army of Gobaith, which will readily and most assuredly mean their added defensive capabilities in supporting our town against outsider forces. We have also gained a much needed and valuable ally in the continued campaign to rid this island of banditry and corruption. These bandits include any groups that openly oppose the safety and well being of the citizens of Troll's Bane, including these small crops of outlaws that seem to be revealing themselves to be staunch supporters of overthrowing the Government.

Their institution will build it's presence in Troll's Bane through the use of the learning center of our fair town. The library will now be placed within the care of the Academy, to be used as their center of operations, and their embassy in town. Hopefully, with such a direct involvement within our town, citizens will have a better chance of being students of the arts. Should anyone have questions or concerns dealing with this matter, your messages will promptly be removed. Please direct those to me personally.

This Proclamation made by the former Governor Elijah between himself and the Absent Arch-mage Avalyon el'Hattarr, from this day shall be annulled and the library returned to it's proper owners, the inhabitants of Trollsbane. Along with this any promise of alliance between the academy and the political and military factions of Trollsbane shall also be annulled henceforth and the academy shall return to it's original mandate of being a neutral faction on the isle. No further alliances shall be made by the academy and any political or militant faction in Gobiath. should a student decide themselves they seek to join with a faction they of course may do so, however not under the name or banner of the Magic academy.

As a second matter of business

unofficially speaking the Academy ground have been opened for the use of teachers and students alike, so now i shall go about making it official . In the past the academy has been under heavy lock and key for what i can see as no other reason then for some mage's to spite other mage's. This will stop now; the academy will be open for use for any mage whom wishes to teach their students. further more access to the teaching room will be allowed to those magican's who are capable and able to use it, however it will be required that you at least name yourselves via personal message, and later formal list. All mages using the teaching room are responsible for there own actions and those of there apprentices. All that is asked is that you be respect of the academy grounds and the general rules of the academy, which i will also be taking under review. Those whom abuse the teaching room or the academy grounds will be forbidden its use, this at least will not change form the prior rules.

Guest's are also now welcome upon academy grounds, under the same rule that they respect the grounds and not damage anything or anyone.

Those that wish use of the teaching room, please contact myself in the coming day so that i may take roster of those whom will be teaching via the academy. This roster can also be used to reference students and apprentices between teachers should you find your personal class to full to take on someone whom you believe has the merits to learn.

Should this arrangement cause issue with any of the current almost completely absent staff members of the academy, please do feel free to send me a letter, which will promptly be burnt to cinders along with your opinions. Those whom do no work for the academy, nor for the future of magic on this isle no longer has any say in the academies operations.
