A "trip" to the past

[Pancho]

Adrian, Nerwin and Pancho were seated in the comfty chairs inside the Briar tavern,
chatting about their hometowns amongst other things.

"This seating sure has seen better days..." commented Adrian as he noted the chairs poor condition.
With a smile Pancho stood and walked over to the chest to grab some fruit to offer to the other halfers.
On his way there one of the boards on the ground gave an odd creak.
"Oh? Ah that was nothing..." shrugging Pancho continued on his way and grabbed the fruit.

Walking back to his seat his big hairy foot stepped on the same board again, his weight making it creak and shortly after break,
causing him to trip and nearly fall over. His foot meanwhile was now trapped in a hole in the ground.

With some help from Nerwin and Adrian he was pulled out again but something was off about the hole now in the ground.
Cautiously the three halfers gathered around it and looked inside until one of them, Pancho who thought he has seen something on the bottom sticked one hand inside.

Grabbing something he pulled it up and much to his surprise held a book of sorts in his hands. Putting it down on the counter the three halflings curiously stepped around it and opened it up. Inside was a large collection of different papers, small and big in many different handwriting styles. Skimming through some of the papers Pancho said with glee. "This... seems to be a copy of the Evergreen Halfers townboard! The one not meant for public eyes opposite to the one the Trollsbane library has kept in their archives. This will bring light into the history and begininnings of Greenbriar! "
