"Seahorse Inn" Breakin ((closed RP))

Post by Grim_banned »

((this is a thivery RP. It didn't happen IG because of the technical limitations. Please RP wise, don't write here just to ruin it.))

Rusty stood covered by the darkness of the night, crouched in a corner at the back of the Inn, glancing cautiosly at the nearby street from time to time and also trough the window, into the house.

A small drop of sweat crosses his forhead as he again glances trough the window, this time with a more concentrated gaze, making sure that no sign of movement is spotted inside the main room, for that with his own eyes has seen Samantha go up the stairs, probably into her chaimbers to sleep, arround 3-4 hours ago.

The moon reigns high onto the dark skyes and silence sweeps over the empty streets. A cool breeze runs trough his messed up and unwashed hair, as he pulls a piece of cloth over his face, compleatly covering his features. His black clothing blend perfectly with the darkness of the night.

Rusty leaves his shadowed hiding place and after cautiosly looking left and right, lightly rests his bag in front of the window. He opens it, and after taking out a small diamond and a few pieces of cloth, gently begins to run his fingers against the glass, pressing them against it, trying to test it's resistance. With a swift and skillfuly silent, movement of his diamond holding hand, the glass falls from the window frame, directly into the clothes that he has previewsly arranged directly underneath it. Absolutely no sound was made in the process and the night making the detection of the missing window, almost impossible.A slight grin sweeps over his face and after making sure one last time that absolutely no one is arround, takes the glass and covers it in the cloth. He hides the bundle behind a bush and places the bag back onto his shoulder.

A silent, keen jump and he is already inside the mansion, playing his greedy eyes against Samantha's belongings in the main room, searching for every object that worth stealing.

Long have been the discussions between the leaders of Silverbrand, the Grey Rose and Troll's Bane. She had hoped to meet the debuty leader of Varshikar there, but the Five are not always following your wishes. However, after the meeting in Silverbrand, she decided to walk the way back to Troll's Bane. It was a beautiful and calm night. The moon enlightened the Copper mountains in a mysterious light. It was relaxing to walk in such a silence. She thought about the issues they had discussed. At the same time she tried no to think about politics for at least a few moments.

So, late in the night she arrived at the east gate of Troll's Bane. She entered the town and closed the gates behind her. It was calm in the streets. She did not see anyone on the streets - even the noise out of the tavern seemed to be absent. With the sword at her side she made a last tour through the town. Passing Eliza's Shop, then the jail. She picked up some grapes as she passed the library. She walked around the corner passing the workshop. In front of her, she saw the tall shadow of the Seahorse. Her gaze wandered to the first floor.

"Only a few moment, then you can sleep in your bed", Siltaris thought to herself.

So she walked to the main door and put the key into the lock to turn the key around.

"What the..?" mutters Rusty once he heard the loud twist in the lock. Dazled by the surprise, he desperatly looks left and right to find a shaded place to hide thinking that the long hours of waiting worth at least a final try.
With a agile and silent move, he runs and shifts his body under the stairs, concealing it with his black clothing, hoping that the darkness of the night and probably the advanced state of tiredness of the newcomed person, would make the detection of the missing window almost imposible.

She opened the door and stepped into the dark room. She closed and locked the door behind her and turned to slowly walk to the chairs in front of the chimney. She got rid of her robe and hung it over the chair's back. Some rare moonbeams found their way through the southern window into the mansion and gave her torso an elven silver glance.
Siltaris put the sword out of her belt and leaned it against the chair, before walking to the chimney. There she kneeled down and took the poker to poke in the coals. There still was some heat, so it started to glow a bit. She took a candel from the mantelshelf and enlightened it from the fire.
It was only a small candle and hardly could enlighten the room. With this candle in her hand she slowly stood up, passed the chair and took the sword in one hand, before walking towards the kitchen. There she stopped and leaned the sword against the wall to unlock the door with another key. Then, she opened the door and stepped into the kitchen and walked to to chest. She put the candle on the table and opened the chest to put the sword and some various things into it.
While looking around in the chest, the candle enlightened the otherwise complete darkness od the small kitchenroom at least a bit. The candle made some faint shadows dance on the ground of the mainhall coming from the kitchen.

Perfectly blend with the shadows, well hidden in the shade of the stairs, he could still hear the sound of the opening chest and the joyful klinggle of the various items being put within. The shadows dancing on the wall make his greedy eyes sparkle with greed, while he controls his breath, making it un-audible, still waiting under the stairs for the woman to leave the room and go for the warm embrace of her own bed.

The main room of the Seahorse mansion is inlaid with the best carpets and the room is formed like a T. In the west wing are two massive tables with half a dozen chairs and a throne at its head. Golden candlesticks can be seen on the tables and a luxurious shield with two swords hang at the wall over by the table. In the east wing is the chimney with 5 chairs infront of its warm fire. On a table lays a harp carved of ebonywood with golden strings. A few plants stand at the wall and over the chimney hang a few pictures in golden frames, showing a beautiful woman and a noble, handsome man with cool gaze. Two candlesticks are left and right of the pictures. There isn't much more in the room then an expensive looking pot on a table near a shut door on the other side of the kitchendoor. A luxurious and beautiful statue can be seen near the stairs, making it as good as impossible to crawl behind the stairs.

She closed the chest, where her sword was in now, and stood up. She turned to take the candle from the table and walked through the kitchen door into the hall. There she turned and locked the door to the kitchen. Slowly she walked to the chair again, where her robe was and hung it over her am. Then she slowly walked in the direction of the stairs. The candle in her hand enlightend the stairs in an bumpy light. Close to the first step, the light of the candle bounced. At the beginning only a bit, then faster until a single blow of wind from somewhere let the light extinct - from one moment to the other, Siltaris found herself witihin darkness.
