Perhaps you should re-think your methods as they appear to be flawed.

Would you rather they were simply appointed? Whom would you choose to do this? The Elders are elected so that they can be chosen by the people. The nominees are chosen because of their experience and wisdom. If you wish to discuss this further, I would be happy to meet with you.

To Whom it may concern,

I wish to apply for a license to trade in Tol Vanima as an "Authorized Trader of Lumber, Foods, Tailored Goods, Glass and Carpentries". I am a member of the Carpenters of Gobiath Guild and will therefore guarantee quality and fair prices.

As I am not Elvinkind, please forgive my ignorance of local customs. If there are prohibited wares, or forbidden trading practices, please let me know and I will make every effort not to disturb local customs nor disturb the island.

I believe that trade in Tol Vanima will be of benefit to both of us and will serve to strengthen ties between Greenbriar and Tol Vanima, both are peoples that consider peace and harmony above all else.

I appreciate your consideration and swift response. Thank you.

I come to you in the name of the Lands of Zzyathis, home of the Lizardmen. Our boundaries are set and our construction begins. I wish to meet with at least one of you personally to discuss many things. If, for whatever reason, you deem it necessary for other certain persons (Example: Citizens, Et Cetera) to attend this meeting as well as yourself, I will surely not object. Zzyathis knocks on your door to propose a peaceful relationship between our lands. We wish to hear your thoughts. Of course, our new frontiers must be respected; we have created laws to make certain that such respect is kept by those of other races. This is a very serious matter to the Lizardmen of Zzyathis. These laws shall be shared and discussed during our meeting. In the future, Zzyathis may become active in the national economy of Gobiath. The script you see of citizens of Tol Vanima is long outdated. There exists a new law that states any of elven blood are accepted as citizens of Tol Vanima. There is no list, for it is obvious who is belonging to our community and our people.

Dear sisters and brothers, peoples of Gobaith,

Vanima is currently collecting resources for different building projects. First a haven in Varshikar will be build in order to have a ferry connecting Tol Vanima and Varshikar. This will bring new trading opportunities and strengthen our bonds with Varshikar. Then we might build a watchtower between the southern harbour and the southern woods to provide sanctuary to those in need and send messangers to Trolls Bane, The Briar and the Grey Refuge. At last we plan to build a huge library to be a place of knowledge and wisdom where much knowledge will be stored and travellers from all over Gobaith can write books to share their experiences. For all this we try to raise our funds. So far persons of many races have donated, and I am happy to let you know that we already have got an amount of more than 200 silver coins alone from donations as well as almost 1000 brickstones. If you are willing to help, please do speak to me or send me a dove to Vanima.
