Placed bag on the ground, it instantly disappeared

Had stuff worth 10 gold in it. That's frustrating.

If I remember correct there's a rotting value that stacks whenever it's been placed on the ground, so it's probably bad luck. Saw yesterday that that can be repaired at the repairman in town, at least for baskets, not checked for bags.

There's also a bug that makes bags disappear if you try to pick them up with "P" or the button to pick up nearby items.

Items do not rot instantly. If you put an item from your inventory on the ground, it will never rot earlier than after nine minutes.

Secondly, the repairman increases the durability of the item (e.g. how often you can use a tool before it breaks), not the "rot value". The rot value is set to nine minutes whenever you put it into your inventory, in case the current value is smaller than nine.
