My GF decided to try this game today and created a char and so on. When she logged in everything was really slow though and the mouse pointer kinda hacked. And she even got logged out due to prestanda problem or something it said. What to do?

I would suggest try again another time and have no idea the message received.

When opening the illarion client, click on Options and choose the Special tab. You could try setting the Graphics Quality to 'reduced', the framerate maybe between 10 and 15 and you could also try to tick some of the 3 options below. I can't say to know the effect of those, but I believe they may help the slowness (I stand to be corrected).

When my daughter started Illa for the first time, it was extremely slow, the char moved only one step in 5 seconds.

She has an older pc, but when I actualized the graphics driver (Geforce 5600), the game ran in normally speed.

Perhaps it could help you in the same way.
