client runs very slowly

well i decided i might retry illarion for a bit, but the client moves extremely slowly. My specs (bit of an antique comp)

Windows XP
CPU 2.6 Ghz
Ram 1275mb
Direct X 9
Graphics Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
Memory 64.0mb

Do you have the newest driver for your graphic card? In most cases this is the reason for slow movement.

Possibly try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, what is your java?
It could also be a time there were just lags, have you tried again?

Try setting the framerate to 13, that oughta do it
