Here we go with 'some' nostalgia.

3336 was Darlok, and the big angry red guy was Ashkatuul.

The altar room of old Silverbrand (under Troll's Bane's tavern, the Fluffy Sheep. The sheep used to run around and kill idiots, btw ^^) It was also way before "Bye Galim", since Galim was obviously still around.

A big prayer to end the drought, at Falkner's Hain. The trees didn't grow back anymore...

A wedding at the same place, without the drought. I think it was the wedding of Ishan and Andriel, not sure anymore.

Dragon's Tower, it was located somewhere between Greenbriar and the main island, I think... every Bearer's dream to visit it once, I guess.

Just some people discussing the drought and leading the town, before it was cool. You could give yourself titles back then that would be portrayed if reintroduced.

And to end this, a fullscreen, which will also show the development (I loved the old lizard graphics, btw) of the client. The screen was taken in the altar room under the Grey Rose castle. Mind the two shields I wear that protected you from being randomly shot by someone you couldn't see, and other stuff. ^^

Geocities is dead, but with the help of Wayback Machine I have uncovered some of the Ultimate Illarion fansite archives for your viewing pleasure. Ill start with screenshots followed by some isolated old-client graphics.

Screenshots were edited for visuals, meaning I cropped out the UI/inventory.

"The Movement" takes over Northrot from Darlok (temporarily), and apparently had trap items which were banned at the time

An orc and dwarf creating a northern forest after tree saplings were added

Everyone gathered to end the draught

Building being constructed by the ocean

It wasn't uncommon to have skellies from the southern forest stop in for a drink

The old spider cave, wasn't a good idea to go farther in

Lots of people in town. I think this was for some Nargún quest.

When we discovered NPCs had no magic res and you could PK the yellow cross (And push it to weird locations). We always pushed them back though

. Once I took Borgate to Caelum, put him in the tavern, and then all the way back again. It just annoys me that I didn't take a screenshot of that, considering it must've taken a few hours.

I didt even know Tyan was an old player. I carried my main over , so maybe he knew me. Still, I enjoyed getting to know that Tyan character in the new format.

What has Facebook done to me ?

Especially enjoy a lot of Dyluck's shots, like the old forum. Illarion has come a long ways since the beginning stages of development.
