Re: Felder & Wälder
I think both Alexander Knight and I understand that what's done is done, GolfLima. We're just a little irritated that the actions of a few have resulted in what was a great privilege being taken away from everyone.
But enough of that, then. I'm going in game to check it all out.

Didn't read most of what I've been said, however, I would like to point the root thing out:
Nobody needs the roots. You can do your alchemy stuff very well without them - it is just a bit more wok. So your chars have the choice.

Re: Felder & Wälder
Sure this isn't the perfect solution and sure now someone could knock down a whole forest just to prove that they can cause trouble on the reverse end of the spectrum(I would hope no one does this). I do not think such a thing will happen nor needs to happen. If someone needs life-root then take it in moderation, move around the isle and take it a bit from different places, I doubt it will even be noticeable. If someone chooses to cut down all the tree's just for your own amusement or to prove a point then no one benefits and the GM's will decide what to do.PurpleMonkeys wrote:don't see how this is any better. Before if someone killed a ton of trees players could replant them, and as shown many players try to fix the unnatural forests themselves. Now only GMs can replant trees. a player could cut down forests now and only a GM can fix it, making more work for the GMs.
A problem will only arise if, like in former circumstance, players actions cause more harm then good. This can be avoided easily with a little common sense.

Re: Felder & Wälder
Planting mass amounts of trees and leaving them there uncut yet using the excuse that you need the roots? I suppose that makes about as much sense as fishing in a well..
Re: Felder & Wälder
i say again:
i cant imagine a situation were you need tons of life roots
may be i´m not knowing enough for that

Re: Felder & Wälder
If PGing is not allowed, then the majority of the community should be banned...
Re: Felder & Wälder
just for confirmation
Illarion is a rp game

Re: Felder & Wälder
Just to be clear... someone that is concidered a PG'r is someone that does not participate in any RP at all. Is that correct?
Now, may I ask, will we have fruit trees at the Union, we need a lot more that what is there?

Re: Felder & Wälder
Vastly off topic, make another thread if you want to talk about skills/PGing/etc.
