Dies ist ein Wettbewerb! Wir wünschen uns von euch, dass ihr Wappen zeichnet. Für einige NPC-Gilden, die mit dem VBU die Welt von Illarion berreichern werden. Also schnappt euch Bleistift und Maus und kreiert uns ein Wappen zu einem der vorgegebenen Themen:

Dear Illarionites!

This is a contest! We wan't you to create emblems, for some NPC-guilds we plan to introduce to the world of Illarion with the VBU. So get your pencil and mouse, start working! Create us an emblem, wich deals with one of the following topics:

Be creative! Suprise us with your ideas and suggestions! You are free to post as much proposals as you like.

Another awesome fact: Vilarion will reward the best emblems with 2 more charslots and a forum-title!

What do some of these guilds do? Might help with the creative process.

They are mercenary-guilds. With a noble touch, of course.

What is the size you need, and I am assuming these emblems will need to be in 3D.

2D is fine.

Make it big. Make it beautiful. Make it awesome.

actually I'm talking about a bird with four legs. Where usually birds got two legs, these one should get another pair.

Winged pigs, awesome!

Crests in concept format and as battle shield to give idea of layout, function.

Drathe, those crests kick ass. You have also restored my hope and faith in humanity.
My only suggestions are that on the last shield, extend the colored field to the whole shield and that one doesn't put color on color or metal on metal (black counts as a color rather than metal), so maybe something other than black.

I do get exactly what your talking about Anon and if it is really wanted it can be/I will change it. But for context of the game I used a little artistic license with the traditional heraldic concepts to make the crests have a little more pop, more eye catching. As for the colour fields on the Lion shield, while not technically correct again a little artistic licence was used to help give a little more identity/character/difference to the group (same went with the choice of shield shape/type.)

But like I said, anything can be changed/altered or more concept work done if really wanted. If I get some time later I'll have a little dabble

Gimme those coats of arms... GIMME!

Banners concept and battle standard. Wanted give a little more flavor and character to the guilds and their emblems/crests.
