Ein Versprecher Sarangarels, oder etwa doch nicht?
"Sarangarel" lacht.

Evie Pryler watches the muffin.
Juumajin takes a seat at the campfire, resting his legs and leaning back with a joyfull sigh.
Juumajin sagt: There's just few things better than being lazy in tha breezing sun.... uargh.
Uhuru Pryler sagt: Muffin!
Uhuru Pryler picks it up and nibbles on it.

It was a great quest today, thanks to everyone involved... this was an awesome moment... as those with magical abilities argue over mana lines, others calmly think of other things with explosive outcomes. Quite original and fun.

Jerem Elessar says: Ice flames
Sarangerel says:
Evie Pryler says: Hmm maybe the mana lines have been frozne.. and thats why we cant work magic.
Evie Pryler inches forward again
Sarangerel says: You suggest this is a mana line? And its froen so much it burns?
Banduk says: And why the monster can work magic then?
Sarangerel rises a brow.
Evie Pryler says: Did I say this was a mana line?
Banduk says: How about to warm it up with a fire wasp?
Jerem Elessar says: i doubt that
Uhuru Pryler says: Lets not argue. Just discussing possibilities.
Sarangerel says: You suggested it.
Evie Pryler says: I said maybe something similar happened to them.. if this is the second instance of ice pockets
"Shipmaster" says: Second instance?
Banduk says: hä?
Jerem Elessar says: fire wesp sonds interesting
Evie Pryler says: Jerem or Banudk said there was one near Adrons altar.
Jerem Elessar says: fire and ice .....
Evie Pryler looks between them.
Evie Pryler whispers: Have a wand on you?
Banduk says: I've got one!
Evie Pryler murmurs to her sister
Uhuru Pryler whispers: Of course.
Uhuru Pryler hands it to her.
Evie Pryler grins and takes the object
Jerem Elessar says: bring the wesp to the ice flames
Banduk holds the wasp covered in his coat
Evie Pryler whispers: Just incase.
Evie Pryler says: Warming up Banduk?
~Here the fire wasp explodes, sending flames out in all directions~
Uhuru Pryler says: Well, this is interesting.
Banduk rises
Rakaya says: now we have fire and ice
Jerem Elessar chuckles
Sarangerel takes a deep drag from the pipe.
Jerem Elessar says: seems the ice kills the fire
Sarangerel says: Dig more of it.
Sarangerel says: Let's sea where it leads.
Jerem Elessar says: more of the ice flames?
You hear: ~Any fire flames coming close to the ice flames disappear immediately~

Not an ingame quote but a story of a character:
A young man with a hopeful gleam in his eyes and a grin playing on his lips leaps off the small trade vessel onto the sandy docks, placing his hands upon his hips. He takes in his surroundings and laughs. "I'm going to make my fortune here! Ah yes, Galmair. Land of coin. I'll be sleeping in a bed of gold before I know it. I know I've said this a thousand times before in a thousand places, but this one is it. I can feel it!" A weary worker lifting a crate onto the vessel looks at the man with an exhausted gaze. "This is Cadomyr."

nothing witty, just pure story telling. Loved it.
Velx'Soln (F) clears her throat and orates.
Zzrracck empties the cider in the goblet and pours himself more as he listens to the story.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Imagine a creature twice the size an orc, thick as this table. Those were the sorts of creatures that lived in our ocean's trenches. Where the water squeezes you so hard that bones break.
Velx'Soln (F) swirls the schnapps in her bottle about as she speaks "Oh, we had numbers on our side, but beyond the sanctiity of our walls--they were a menace.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Until one day, very long ago I might add--a chance discovery made their strength meaningless.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Through sheer happenstance--I suppose the closest word for him would be...a painter?--It's of no importance, all you need know is that he blundered upon a poison that weighed more than water.
Juumajin takes another sip, listening.
Velx'Soln (F) says: So much so that it sunk, deep into the great, dark fissure that the trench-folk lived.
Velx'Soln (F) makes a non-commital toss of her hand.
Velx'Soln (F) says: And that was the end of them. All of them.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Some of us didn't think it nessecary, to be blunt
Juumajin says: Uh poisoned all tha big fish?
Velx'Soln (F) says: Down to the last greiving mother.
Zzrracck grins a bit and sips the cider.
Velx'Soln (F) says: We're terribly remorseful
Velx'Soln (F) sounds unconvincing
Zzrracck says: I could lizzten to a few more zztoriezz... if it be from you.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Oh?
Velx'Soln (F) hems and haws in faux consideration.
Juumajin eyes Velzz' then turns his attention to the mug.
Velx'Soln (F) says: If it's the prevailing notion, I could be convinced.
Zzrracck grins and leans forward to light the lantern again as if in answer.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Tell me then dear orc, what would you like to hear of?
Velx'Soln (F) says: As it seems I should keep the both of you entertained
Juumajin rubs his chinn.
Juumajin says: Hrmf. Sum troublesome tale.
Juumajin says: With smack and smash in id.
Velx'Soln (F) hooks a claw beneath the collar of her shirt and muses on the subject, fanning herself with a few tugs of the green fabric
Velx'Soln (F) says: How familiar are the two of you with mermaids?
Juumajin says: Pretty Fish.
Velx'Soln (F) lets the word leave her with palpable detest "Hardly"
Zzrracck says: Not much but ze far fetched zztoriezz from ze mouthzz of ze few mindruined piratezz we catch every now and zzen.
Juumajin says: Uhhh?
Velx'Soln (F) says: They're nearly human from the waist up--abominations that they are--and I suspect lonely sailors to be the root of their existance
Juumajin leans a little bit forward listening.
Velx'Soln (F) says: We all know of human 'proclivities'...if half-elves weren't enough evidence to the fact
Zzrracck chuckles lightly.
Juumajin smirks.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Needless to say we do not abide 'mer' in the granduer of our sacred waters
Velx'Soln (F) says: But they're as insufferably contentious a breed as humankind before them, which is how this next story begins
Zzrracck says: Zzo one zzide be human... but zzen what be ze ozzer half?
Velx'Soln (F) says: Oh most anything Zzrracck. From manta and sharks to squid and slugs
Velx'Soln (F) says: The mer are therinthropic in that regard
Zzrracck says: Almozzt makezzz me zzink of ze zzalmon dizzh waiiting for me in my bagzz for later.
Zzrracck says: Ahh do go on wizz zze zztory.
Juumajin leans his chin on his wrists, which are resting on the table.
Zzrracck takes out a cup and starts playing with it idly as he listens. Rattling sound of dice can be heard from inside.
Velx'Soln (F) tuts "I'm still peckish, mind." before continuing "Cthul was a particularly brazen mer. So taken with the taste of human flesh that no man dared sail his waters--and so it is that he tred closer to our own"
Velx'Soln (F) says: And his nickname "Chum-in-eyes" was well earned, for in each of his suckered, squid-like limbs he held a scimitar of stygian trench-steel
Velx'Soln (F) says: Each blow was ten-fold, each parry an attack and every foe outnumbered
Juumajin says: That be pretty much slashers!
Velx'Soln (F) says: Indeed. He did not simply slay warriors--he threshed them so finely that they were reduced to stains in the water
Juumajin says: Good man!
Juumajin grunts.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Eventually, when his ignoble life demanded to be extinguished a hero stepped forwards, a venerable temple guardian by the name of Z'Mak-O
Velx'Soln (F) says: And do you know why, it was he above all others that would prevail?
Zzrracck leans forward, intrigued.
Velx'Soln (F) tosses her hand with theatric flair "Because Z'Mak-O had no place for death to enter"
Velx'Soln (F) says: In him Cthul could find no place to thrust his swords, nor sink his fangs
Juumajin says: He wus indistructable?
Velx'Soln (F) says: No. All things are overcome in their own way, not even mountains endure
Juumajin says: Whus his sclaes like super strong?
Velx'Soln (F) says: Cthul, whom had never so much as seen his own blood--had forgotten this
Velx'Soln (F) says: The moment the two met, Z'Mak-O sunk his spear into his own tail and bloodied the water, speaking these words
Velx'Soln (F) clears her throat, and trusses her recounting with iron
Zzrracck nods slowly but seems to be completely consumed in listening to the story that his goblet almost falls from his paws, barely catching it as the grip is lost.
Velx'Soln (F) says: "Beast. That is the last of our noble blood you will see spilled"
Juumajin says: Tha man got a feeling for good things to say.
Juumajin grunts deeply.
Zzrracck says: Indeed.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Therein was the temple guardian's secret. Removed of all doubt, of all indecision--he was less a man and more a force of the temple's will, an instrument of divine retribution
Velx'Soln (F) clicks her tongue "I detest that word--man--but common is unweildy"
Velx'Soln (F) continues
Velx'Soln (F) says: Cthul was mighty, but the first blow was struck when he let doubt of his victory enter the black chambers of his heart
Velx'Soln (F) says: Z'Mak-O did not fight as the others before him. He fought not the Mer but each arm. Diminishing his attacker with each victory
Juumajin nods slowly to himself.
Velx'Soln (F) says: By the time the final blow was struck Cthul floated broken and limbless before his conquerer--and he who was without mercy begged for it
Velx'Soln (F) says: But the Temple demands justice--not mercy
Velx'Soln (F) says: Cthul was dredge down to a sea-vent--a wound in the earth where unending water wars against unextinguishable fire
Velx'Soln (F) says: Each of his wounds was seared shut--so that no magic or medicine would restore him
Velx'Soln (F) eyes her retinue, illuminated in the warm glow of Zzrracck's lantern
Juumajin listens curiusly.
Velx'Soln (F) says: Then he was left for the scavengers, as his countless victims before him. A warrior picked clean the worms and crawling things that burrow through silt
Zzrracck grins in satisfaction as the story comes to a good ending.
Zzrracck says: A well dezzerved ending to ze villain i zzhould zzay.
Velx'Soln (F) says: As I said, we do not abide contentious Mer
Juumajin says: A good tale.
Zzrracck says: Hmm.. now azz i had promizzed ill get you zzomezziing to eat.
Zzrraccke starts to risse from his chair.
Juumajin says: Nub for Juuma.
Velx'Soln (F) chortles "Next you'll expect me to sing for my supper"
Zzrracck says: Ohh a zzong and a danzze wont be bad eizzer.
Zzrracck chuckles as he moves towrds the door.

I always did love a well-timed NPC

"Azure" says: so samantha what do you do around here. <waves his left arm towards the town>
Maelyrra Umrielyth says: Only so much information can be gathered in a library.
Samantha Stoneridge smooths her skirt idly. She is a plump young woman with curious blue eyes peering from beneath the brim of her hat. Her skin seems pale, as if she does not spend much time outdoors.
Samantha Stoneridge blushes, glancing back at Maelyrra.
Samantha Stoneridge says: I know that Maelyrra... I just happen to like it there.
Samantha Stoneridge glances back to Azure sheepishly.
Samantha Stoneridge says: Reading, mostly.

Samantha Stoneridge raises a brow, glancing up at Azure. "Shall I assume the townsfolk here are as fond of you as they are of Mister Bob?"
Samantha Stoneridge grins lightly.
"Azure" says: i am unnoticed by most here
Brassius Meres coughs into a closed fist.
Samantha Stoneridge glances back at Brassius, raising both brows.
Samantha Stoneridge says: Are you sure of that?
