Once upon a time we had a system of 'warnings'. These put a horrible yellow dot underneath the profile picture for all to see the shamed person.

How about we use that real-estate space for something nicer instead? Forum Achievements.

Now these won't be game-related. No acheivement for killing 100 mummies, or for pging 100 skill in 30 days or whatever. But people like acheivement. They like what they've done to be displayed for all to see.

So the idea is to have acheivements based on what good you did for the game. Creating NPCs, being part of a group which helps newbies or whatever, writing books, translating... that sort of thing. Some tiny 'star' icons with a small image on the, to show everyone what a good person you are. Could be collectable I guess. Could have a badge for 1 NPC - a badge for 10.. 50?

I dunno. Discuss.

That's not nearly as enticing as a gold star with a picture in the middle. And its only for NPCs. And its not really given anyway.

Having a collection of them is more showy.
