Hello fellow players,

what I would like to work on, is the social aspect of the game. Since we all play this game together, we all should have a common goal: Making Illarion an even nicer place to be at, not only ingame, but also on the forums and in the chat. To actively work towards this goal, we are recruiting community managers (German and English), whose field of work will include:

• Supporting new players, welcoming them, helping them with their first steps in Illarion
• Maintaining a nice atmosphere, both on the forums and in the chat.
• Being at the pulse of the community, detecting problems between community and staff, or inter community difficulties and dealing with these
• Providing support for players and/or redirecting them to someone who can help them
• for the German CM: sometimes translating important posts when deemed necessary

So now that you are all fired up and ready to apply, please check if you fulfill most of these useful requirements for the available positions:

• Being a nice person, being able to be friendly to everybody
• Being communicative
• Having lots of motivation and patience
• Being available on the forums and in the chat actively and on demand regularly and being ready to regularly invest some time in the long run
• Having a deeper understanding of how the community ticks, thus probably being a senior player
• Having adequate language skills in English and, for a German CM, also in German
• Being able to work independently, addressing social problems on your own
• Helpful but not mandatory: Being able to acquire a very basic understanding of the technical aspects of the game, for redirecting help requests

Hallo Mitspieler,

woran ich pers. arbeiten möchte, ist der soziale Gedanke des Spieles. Da wir dieses Spiel gemeinsam spielen, sollten wir alle ein gemeinsames
Ziel haben: "Illarion, nicht nur "im Spiel" zu einem netteren Ort zu machen, sondern auch im Forum und Chat. Um aktiv auf dieses Ziel hinzuarbeiten, rekrutieren wir Community Manager, welche unter anderem zuständig sind für:

- Neuen Spielern unter die Arme greifen, sie willkommen heissen und ihnen bei ersten Schritten in Illarion helfen.
- Nette Atmosphäre im Chat und im Forum aufrecht erhalten.
- Immer am Laufenden bleiben, was die "community" betrifft, um Probleme zwischen "community und staff" zu finden und zu schlichten.
- Neuen Spielern helfen und\oder an Jemanden weiter leiten, der ihnen helfen kann.
- evtl. übersetzen von wichtigen poss im Forum in die deutsche Sprache oder umgekehrt

So, da ihr nun Alle bereit seid etwas beizutragen und Feuer und Flamme seid, versucht heraus zu finden, ob ihr für eine
dieser Positionen, diesen nützlichen Ansprüchen genüge leistet:

- Eine freundliche Person sein und jeden freundlich helfen
- Kommunikativ und aufgeschlossen sein
- Viel Motivation und Ausdauer (Geduld) mitbringen
- Zu regelmässigen Zeiten aktiv im Chat und Forum sein, aber auch bereit sein, in Zukunft einiges an Zeit zu investieren.
- Ein tieferes Verständniss besitzen, wie die "community" tickt, oder auch ein älterer Spieler sein.
- Angemessene Englischkenntnisse und Deutschkenntnisse aufgrund der Deutschen CMs.
- Unabhängiges selbstständiges Arbeiten und sich mit sozialen problemen selbstständig befassen.
Hilfreich aber von nicht zu grosser Wichtigkeit:
- In der Lage sein auch den technischen Teil des Spieles zu verstehen versuchen, um Antworten auf Nachfragen geben zu können.
