Time to say goodbye²

First off, I want about 20 people to post "We will miss you!" (I don't really care who posts it, just do it or my thread will look pretty stupid in comparison to Alsaya's).
Secondly, I joined the game about four years ago, had good times, had bad times, Illarion was a weird experience.
I first joined the staff as a Quester, then concentrated on the Seer-part and made people unhappy.
As soon as I became a GM, playing the game lost its fun. There are no secrets anymore, items, places, races and all that lose their special-ness.
Questing turned out to be silly because it was a duty and that blocked my creativity.
And Seering being fun is just contradictory.
Also I am 20, will go to college any time soon and Illarion just doesn't fit into my life anymore.
I have nothing to moan about and I don't really regret anything, so I just leave now, bye!
GM Zak / PO Magnus Magnol/Gnupi/Brian/Kadir/Twinky&Blinky/and ~60 more (no kidding, I tried all kinds)
PS: Whoever wishes to stay in contact, you have my MSN already, use it.
PPS: Remember, don't cyber, GMs see everything, even if your chars put out the torch and hurry out of the door in complete darkness..bumping in every solid obstacle that is in their way..it was a joy to watch though.. ..you two POs whom I am not pointing fingers at right now.. *nudge cough* : )
PPPS: Of course I am leaving like a real Illarionite which means I will pop in every now and then, maybe even make a ranty comment at something I have no clue about.

Magnus Magnol...hach ja, das waren Zeiten, wo ich per Schreien-Einstellung IG gerufen habe "Ich bin neu im Spiel und brauch HILFE!" und ein freunlicher Magnus dem verdusselten Shadar el'Rodar erklärte, wie man ooc spricht und per STRG-Click angreift. Geile Zeit.
Und nochmal für die Kameras: We will miss you *cheese*
((Falls ich mich hier grad zum Dödel mache und es ein anderer Magnus war, dann will ich wenigstens Kekse.))

Und somit geht einer der lustigsten und besten Spieler die je den Boden Gobaith´s betreten hatten.
Mit Magnus habe ich die gute alte Zeit noch im Sinn als Darney de Soley das Dach der Farmers
Union ausbesserte und noch viele andere Erinnerungen mehr, als ich noch aktiv spielte.
Danke für diese Zeit...und ich persönlich dachte ja, dass du nie gehst,
weil du ja schon fast sowas wie Spielinventar warst.
Aber Spass bei Seite als GM hatte ich ja kaum Kontakt zu dir,
aber vermissen werd ich dich und den
alten "Tattergreis" auf jeden Fall.
Lass es dir gut gehen und viel Erfolg beim Studium du alter "Za(c)k"

That was unexpected, and very sad to see you leave, we had good times together when you were both a player, and a GM!
I hope all goes well for you and I'm sure you'll be with us as often as needed, I will still nag you in msn on those boring days.

College is just another type of RP. They won't kill you physically but you will have to use all your
skills to avoid mental damage! Your "character" will have to be able to evolve and you'll find that
of all your "attributes" PERCEPTION will play a huge role in your success and survival! (Take this from someone who has taught at the college level for almost more years than you've been on this planet.) Set your goals, keep your eyes and ears open and have a wonderful time. I envy the experience you are about to have.

Aww.
We will miss you Zak.
But remember, GM's can go back to being players again.
It's still fun to play and you will have loads of spare time at college.

Wirklich schade, war immer aufregend mit Magnus zu reden,
und seinen Rat befolgt Amarien bis heute.

Lieber PO Magnus, ich wünsche dir alles Gute für dein Studium. Ich bin überzeugt davon, dass du die Entscheidung, dich von Illa zurückzuziehen, gut durchdacht hast. Irgendwann sind die Möglichkeiten erschöpft und man denkt nur noch an die alten Zeiten, in denen es mal richtig Spaß gemacht hat und das dies so war, steht außer Frage. Als Magnus hab ich dein RP immer mit Spaß verfolgt - soweit es mir möglich war - und hab auch respektvoll Abstand gehalten *grinst*.
Spaß sollte das Spiel auch machen, dass steht im Vordergrund und wenn es nicht mehr an dem ist - sollte man sich trennen!
In diesem Sinne, alles Gute
