Today I started two polls to find out about more about the target groups of Illarion.

Please vote honestly. ;)

Thanks

I don't find it surprising what group of people has the most amount of time to play besides retirees? :P
I used to play so much when I was in college that I nearly failed Religion 101

Let it go. One person makes a comment and everyone jumps him like a pack of starving hyenas. Illarion has a disturbing history when it comes to this mob mentality.

Please refrain from any non-related banter. We do not care that you nearly failed religion, we do not care about declining language skills of the general player-base, and I definitely do not care for any hostility in a thread. Try to count to ten before flaming someone down.

P.S. I only quoted Cain for added emphasis. His post remains because it did nothing of the sort. ;)

Concerning the fact that illarion's actual, pre-vbu- game world is still graphically "behind" other, more 3d-oriented games, it is no wonder why most players are students - since the community puts weight on roleplaying few other "open" ones, we still get some players.
The fact that illarion is a completely free game may also play a role in this.

More students play games anyway, surely? I guess better graphics would lead to an influx of people under "pupils" more than anything.

So if one were to interpret this statement, what you are saying is that after the vbu the game will not be behind other, more 3d oriented games.

so it's going to be 3d then? Thanks for the heads up.
Just hope it doesn't destroy the game too much.

Actually Damien isn't part of the development team, and therefore knows about the VBU as much as the rest of you guys - unless he looks over people's shoulders
