I read a lot of complaints about the shift hand bug when you alt tab. The solution is to press shift. If nothing happens try RIGHT shift. That sorts it.
Sure, I forgot to add "if this does not work", cos your way didn't help me out. I actually have the feeling that my right shift key does nothing at all on my laptop.

Its related to the 'keep walking upwards' bug, apparently when you switch focus, the client doesn't notice that you raised the key, so when you alt tab back again you still have shift, alt or whatever button you were holding 'down'.

So if you press the button again, it fixes.
Lately pressing the button again hasn't worked for me.
You don't necessarily have to be pressing shift for that to happen, though, and, as I said, you have to press right shift to undo it. I doubt many people ever press right shift.

I can't remember which shift I press so probably not, will try that before logging next time, thanks!
