Weak people need to be able to carry them too if you want them to be used by everyone-> 5 strength mage guise can carry it => 15 strength guy says lol np I carry dis shtHadrian_Abela wrote: In order to stop people from using THEM as bags, we can either produce some interesting bit of code which checks whether its in the depot bla bla bla - or much simpler - make them so heavy that you'd need to be an idiot to try to carry them around with items in them.
*Giggles, shrugging shoulders and walks on, hands in the pockets, kicking a stone.*Dear Estralis,
I have never REALLY lead a guild, and am not even wanting to ever do so, for a simple reason.
Managing a communal stash or hoarding is a pain in the ass!
After an update in wich the space-restriction of the bags was introduced,
and later several updates of making some stuff less stackable,
i developped a graving phobia of accessing my depot/-s at all,
because i can never know, what avalanche of hours and hours of bagdragging and muleshifting
i am about to release
Placing half a dozen of depots beside each other is no solution!
I know this is all the fault of people like me, who so passionately po..

..so why not make the lifes of at least our representants, guildleaders and headmasters
a tad easier by making an easy manageable and accessible inventory system possible.
I can understand limiting the shown bag/depot space to three and two lines,
because it makes counting our possesions easie..

The problem is that due to the volume thingy, any crafter needs to have a bunch of bags for items, since you can't put more than 150 ingots in one, no more than 5-7 suits of armour in one et cetera.Estralis Seborian wrote:Basically, you want to have a 2nd bag, with more volume capacity and a higher weight? Sounds rather clumsy for me, like a dirty fix for a non existent problem...
I will give you a personal example - my character. Items which don't stack which he keeps - he's a smith by the way:Estralis Seborian wrote:But actually, is it really desireable to expand the depot space that much? Do we really need to store hundreds of different items in large stacks within sub-boxes? I see the point of raw materials being hard to store within bags, but what speaks against placing them into the depot itself?
