instead of makign copper plates worthless. why not use them with cooking?

specifically

seperate all cooked dishes into wooden plate and copper plate varieties. so when you select subgroup you are picking what type of flatware, bowl, wood plate or copper plate

then, make so wooden plate dishes simply do not give the plate back after meals, or is a 50-50 chance of gettign plate back. And the copper plates are MUCH higher chance, 80-100%

Will give a useless item some use and increase the demand for plates which gives apprentice carpenters more work, meanign more plates, meaning more economic impact.

And as I have mentioned earlier - make eating take some more time and reduce that time by using cutlery. As it is now cutlery is useless as far as I know.

I like the idea btw. =)

or add the possibility of getting ill when eating without cutlery, due to germs on your fingers (which are mostly dirty from work or slaying undead ;P)

Because cutlery in the same bag you put the entrails, coal or whatever would be clean ;) ?

Maybe using cutlery would give you a tiny bit more food value - that would make it more used - though its not very logical.

Otherwise this idea [original one] will make everyone happy - the buyer doesn't have to end up with a lot of plates after he eats the meals (more convienant), the carpenter gets more work, the goldsmith becomes less useless and the cook can use copper plates for practice or friends.
