How exactly does one create magic gems from normal ones?? I read the book in the library, it says "transform at one of the five altars"...I tried everything at the Elara shrine in the library building, but the only special thing that happened was the usual demonic laugh, which scares my char out of his wits. Someody help??!!
no no no...if you have three of the same kind of magical gem, you can exchange them for a more powerful one. you can't turn regular gems into magical ones.

It would never possible to make a normal gem to a magical...
Thats what i hear about "magic gems" but what the others say, you can transfom 3 magical gems (the same gem... Diamant, Topas) into a stronger magical gem
there are 10 lvls of gems. taking 3 lvl 1 gems to make one lvl 2 gem....
at this rate... it will take 19683 lvl 1 gems (currently the only gem dropped) to make a lvl 10 gem. It took me about 4-5 hours to get a gem (i've gotten 4, that is the average time), so at that rate it will take 9-11 years of nonstop combat to get a lvl 10 gem.
assuming you dont fail when upgrading =). And my lvl 2 gem gives me a lvl 1 gem bonus...
But i've been told that there will be a faster way to upgrade gems.
I hereby found the holy order of "LAAH", with the ultimate goal to create one level 10 gem of each kind and then sacrifice them all to Nargùn by letting them rot in front of the eyes of a dwarf.
