Actually, we once had a cult that considered a player character a god and worshipped... it. Don't be too strict, but stick to the background Damien created. Make up whatever you lack on information. Religion is not science, there is no determinism in religion, too.

Taking this serious, what would you suggest? Beholding the pantheon, having only black and white colors available, I regard the gods as followed:

The good and lame ones:
Oldra - Goddess of Life and Fertility
Sirani - Goddess of Love and Pleasure
Zhambra - God of Friendship and Loyalty
Elara - Goddess of Wisdom and Knowledge

The neutral and all-punishing ones
Adron - God of Festivities and Wine
Cherga - Goddess of Spirits and the Underworld
Malachin - God of Battle and Hunting
Irmorom - God of Trade and Craftsmanship

The bad and mighty guys:
Nargun - God of Chaos
Ronagan - God of Thieves and Shadows
Moshran - God of Blood and Bones

I have my problems imagineing an Adron priest, btw .

Religion, at least interesting ones, aren't just pick a God and run with it.

Good point actually, kevin. yeah, kinda matches. Be drunk, and the headache in the next day after is kinda sacred... ;) just look at ancient rome / greece, they had bcachus.

Bacchus was much more than that, and wine doesn't necessarily mean drunkenness.

Bacchus seems more like Nargun than Adron.

@Drace Blackman, this is a different game then Legends http://illarion.org/community/forums/viewforum.php?f=57 though you are welcome to join anytime. To learn how to play it is best to get on irc to ask http://illarion.org/community/us_chat.php but here are some helpful topics also: http://illarion.org/illarion/us_java_download.php

I have actually enjoyed reading this thread again however since it is LONG in the past and a game on Gobaith, not the VBU and Illarion I'll lock.... if there is an urgent need to open it let me know. :)
