Umfrage zum Betriebssystem / Poll about operating system

Post by Alatar »

The client needs Java to run and Java is nearly available everywhere. So I want to know which underlaying operating system (with Java installed) runs Illarion for you?!

I've had 98 forever until last week. My brother FORCED me to uninstall it and install XP.. I loved 98.. Never had any trouble whatsoever.. except that recently some programs stopped working on it..

O_O I'm the only one who uses Windows 2000?

...

I had to downgrade after I lost my PC's machine code and tried to reinstall XP. So far, fewer problems than XP. Still get booted whenever the phone rings or if I play for 1-3 hours straight.

Either way, I have the latest version of Java. It installs despite 2000 not being supported.

That's probably because your internet connection dies.

If you're using broadband you need to install a telephone filter. (/splitter? no idea what its called).

Its basically a small plugish thing which sticks into your telephone socket and has a hole for the internet wire, and a hole for the telephone.

It costs less than 5 Euros...

Why do people post here?
Its a poll..click it and let it, be unless you have a "special" kind of operating system noone else is using and you give tips how to run Illa on it...

Wheeee!
I was actually working on a Mac user oriented manual for Illarion...
Then it occurred to me that there are so few Mac users that play Illarion they could just post their problem or pm me and I could give them tips that way...

:(
Is lonely being an Apple wif a bunch of Windows... so exposed feeling.

I especially like the use of interpunctuation in, that sentence.

There's a lot of people still running XP not being forced to go vista... I envy you all :(
