I sent a book to Nitram and he said the group was no longer active. I think the gms still accept book concepts.

I'm quite busy with RL stuff until the end of January. Please bare with me until that time, then I will take care of the book requests again.

I know that at least I and one of the others are still active and online a lot. Anyone feel free to send me your books via msn. I'll post them in the book writers section and I'm sure someone (if not myself) will care for them.

How many new lines can be on a page?

Posted: Tue Jan 13, 2009 11:43 pm
by abcfantasy
It's not in lines. It's in characters, and it's 200 characters (i.e. including spaces) per page. The script won't allow you to add more than 200 characters in a single box.

It is worth considering to add avatars as items to the game for the purpose of using them in books or for GMs to play around with *tosses a dwarf at the crowd with maniacal laughter*.
"cobweb" and "sword" are A OK too?

Can we have such thing as a book item? In our inventory? Shift+click to open it?

That would be friggun awesome.

Maybe also an ability to edit our OWN books "live"?

Posted: Thu Apr 30, 2009 9:46 am
by abcfantasy
That's currently not possible from the server side.

If a book is written, who should it be turned in to?

How does one acquire books for their own guilds library?

uhm these questions are allready answered, abc should still be the head of th book dvelopment group and you simply note where you want the book to be in the pm to him.
