The new playerraces?!

Post by Misjbar »

new features will be:
-Transition tiles
-new Playerraces like fairy, gnome and goblin
Can we have some extended information on how they are in the world of Illarion, and what we should expect concercing "graphics" for them all? (I forgot how they looked *chuckles*)

I feel so exciiiited now.

sure we can, we have freakin skeletions walking the streets, why not.

fiaries will visist but stay mostly out in nature.

Gnome and Goblins aren't to hard, since technically we could consider npc's bandits of there race like we did with human npc's in the forests

The gnomes look a bit weird. Their heads are really out of place with their bodies.

Now we will most likely see hundreds of fairies appearing, and less female elves.

LMAO!! True.

Will goblins be like orcs?
Usually in rpgs they are monsters that attack the more 'civilised' races (or war with them' (with the exception of the Elder Scrolls - the orcs I mean)

I can't believe nobody's mentioned yet that the fairy looks like it's jerking off.

On the plus side, at least the fairy has a slightly different color scheme from the usual green and orange.

The Gnomes really look quite weird and not very "gnome-ish". But I like the overall style of the new races.
Do these races already have background stories on Gobiath?
And is there going to be a redesign of the actual player graphics?

PS: Tile transition - yeah! Bridges -yeah!

from what we already know fairies are shy and secluded, and msotly stay in nature, goblins are tricky, and usually more towards the thief and bandit end of things,a nd gnomes are secluded, intelligent, creatures that i think live underground for the most part. That's all i remember

If you whack him on the head with related books about fantasy races I heard it increases his efficiency by 1% per book.

Now everyone can have a second visit to the "Blame the Dam(i)e(n)!" thread  .

And yes... now the population of female elves will go into near extinction =( . No one wants to play lady elves any more if there are fairies available as player characters. I love that new races are being put in, but I'm definitely very apprehensive of the oblivion probability that it might cause to races that we currently have.
