I loved how not every single attack was a generic "undead, surprise!" but had variation to them. The way you handle Dead Kings is way different from how you handle Madness Dragons, which is totally a different ballpark from being suddenly surrounded in two hundred rats. Making all these different types of experiences has been great.
Not that there is anything ~wrong~ with barely driving back a horde of kings, it's just neat to have different experiences throughout the day.
