Well why dont we start a thread about questions we may have about the char wipe and bug the GM's till we get answers.
Q ) One thing ive personally spoken to people about and still wonder about is this matter.
Will there be anything to counter balance the characters who have more time to spend on the game from spending countless hours building up thier skills and conquering the whole game in a matter of days.

Daily/weekly/monthly caps?

Q) Will the system for starting equipment upon character generation be the same (begin with nothing except a shovel and hammer), or will there be possibility for variation?
Q)Going on with Moirear's question, I seriously hope some changes have been made here. Because if everyone starts that way, there is no way we can get "better" through interacting with older players, who could give us a foothold. So, I would like to know what you have though up for us. =3
Q) I heard the magic system will remain the same, but will there be item changes (for the offerings) at least for a little while, oir will we have to wait until people start grandmastering to get what we need?
of course, each player will have it's own map in an infinite universe so we can ensure that no other player will disturb any player (and no rule violations can take place because of that)
When the wipe does take place, will there be a prolonged period of waiting before the server, client and so forth are up and running again? And, as previously hinted on a seperate topic, is Illarion going to start a publicity campaign to attract new players to the game?
Your character's names will be saved, as will your password/email information, and possibly some other information as well.
HOwever you will NOT have skills, items, or even stats that will carry over. You will start from anew.
And dont start complaining, by the way, i think this is excellent... the only thing is that many will consider it as a 'race' to try to become the first blacksmith. Though i must say, whoever becomes the first blacksmith sure will be rich.
I have three characters. My main one will be prioritized as I begin making him a carpenter. My second one will need to hardly be played at all, he's a thief, though some weapon training might help. My third character will want to be a smith, but I won't prioritize it, I'll just log on when no one else is on and powergame (jk).
Oh yeah, another question: I heard that basic skills will be transeferred (i.e. raw recruit in any skil lyou have trained to a certain point) is this true?
