How come in the first 2 weeks of the new client, people, especially dwarves were already smithing double axes and war axes, and their skills were not cut for powergaming?

How come smiths (especially dwarves) start with a skill advantage, and fighters don't? Fighters have to gain all skill from 0.

The problem with going back to the old way is we would lose the ability to create "Small Talk" NPCs (just like Ramond at the Graveyard), that would give you quest hints, spread rumors or give general hints about locations. I wouldnt be willing to sacrefice that huge advantage just because...

It's the plate legs that get you. But we don't have plate legs in Illarion, so no problem.

I have 30 apples in my pocket, because 1 apple heals very littlel ife and adds very little stamina. To get full - I need 15 apples. So... eeeh... one full hunger bar, one full meal for my avatar - is 15 apples.

Mute characters are cool!
They have a specific charm to them.
And they are very fun to be around with, if played properly, and not ignored.
Actually, a cheerful mute girl is suddenly a turn on... in my mind anyways.
